As festival season is upon us and maybe we might get some sun, I thought I’d do a tutorial today on how to do a 4 strand braid or plait. The best way to describe this is that it looks like a ‘basket weave’ pattern. This can be done with more than 4 strands but when doing this on yourself its easier to stick at 4 – still the theory is the same.
I did my tutorial using some hair extensions I was sent from a lovely new company called Hair Extensions Fashion. They are 100% remi/remy hair of AAA grade. Very soft and shiny with larger clips that other extensions I have owned. I find them really comfortable and easy to apply.
The colour extensions I use for this tutorial are 613/27, known as sun kissed blonde and cost £59.99. These are a perfect colour for those people who have highlighted blonde hair with golden tones in them still as they have a nice mix. They match my hair perfectly. These extensions are 120g of hair (140g with clips). They also stock some really amazing lashes which I will be reviewing and using in tutorials shortly!
