Tutorial/YouTube : Paul Smith AW2012 Inspired Easy Up Do with/without Extensions

Recently I saw a press release with some amazing styles taken from the Paul Smith Autumn Winter 2012 catwalk show. I’ll openly admit I love looking at shots from the shows more for the hair and make up than the clothes!

Here is my take on the look from the above images….

The styles were so easy to create I decided to show you my take on them and how anyone can wear their hair like this (As long as you have some lengths or your extensions) and do it in a matter of minutes. It’s the perfect style for school, work or days when you really want ‘no fuss’ and easy!

Here’s the items I used to create the look in my video…

Tangle Teezer

Hair band (Also a hair grip if you want to hide your hair band)

Extensions (If you need them for length, thickness or just feel like doing that version)

Hair Spray.

I used the Moroccan Oil Luminous Hair Spray in my tutorial, this was sent to me to review. This was the product that was also used in the catwalk show too so I felt it apt that I use it for this look. I really do love this hair spray and although it is a little pricey at (Around) £16.65 in my opinion it is more than worth it. You are getting good hold but with flexibility. But best of all you are getting an amazing glossy, reflective shine which doesn’t look greasy but makes your hair look like that kind of ‘healthiness’ you see on stars. My hair looks so healthy with this one; on several occasions I’ve been asked if I’ve been to the salon as my hair looks that good – I like surprising people when I say the ‘condition’ is down to a hair spray! If you can stretch your budget I thoroughly recommend it!

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial, if you would like me to do this with a ‘Halo’ (The extensions on a wire from Halo Hair Extensions), please drop me a comment below and I’ll get one filmed.

Is this a look you would consider wearing?

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
