I haven’t done a wishlist post in ages and as its a rubbish day outside, what better way to spend it than compiling a list of things I want to get in for when its warmer and brighter? Here is my Spring/Summer wishlist for fashion…
Starting off with something I’ve had my eye on for a VERY long time. I desperately want a pair of ripped jeans but wanted something else other than skinnies. I saw these boyfriend ones on ASOS and fell in love. I really like the ASOS Curve range, its one of the few plus size ranges which realises curvier girls want to be fashionable too and not look like they are wearing their nan’s clothes! These jeans are just gorgeous, with heels or dressed down with some Chuck Taylor’s or flip flops they are going to look amazing on.
I have been looking at this Kimono now every time I go on River Island and am in love. The things you could wear this with are almost as diverse as the poncho below. This looks great with dresses, jeans, shorts, trousers, skirts. You can dress it up or wear it casual. It is classic looking too and sure to draw attention. It would make a great holiday piece with a bikini or cropped tank. You can see how much I need this in my wardrobe can’t you. 1 word… Gorgeous!
Nothing says ‘It’s Summer Time!’ like a maxi dress. The long length dress that NEVER goes out of fashion. I love these as you can just chuck them on if you have been sunbathing and need to go out. They also are great for hot evenings out with friends and can look uber casual or slightly more dressed out. Normally I would have chosen the all black version of this dress but I have been trying to get in touch with my ‘colourful’ side and I adore coral colours in the Summer. I don’t think you can go wrong with dresses and New Look in the Summer, they are so reasonably priced and often lasts a good few years too!
I’m a huge fan of ponchos, uber comfortable and a piece that rarely goes out of fashion. Whether you are teaming these with short like above and maybe a bikini because its gotten too cool at the beach, or a pair of jeans and a vest. Its a multi-wearing piece and perfect for any wardrobe. I really like the lace detail hem on this, it gives it a slightly elegant twist. A must have for those cooler Summer evenings in my book!
Admittedly I have absolutely nowhere I know of that I can wear this, however I had to add it on here. It is gorgeous! I love the colour, the cut it beautiful and its a classy kind of pretty without being overdone. Also at £19.99 I think its a complete steal!
I fell in love with this graphic tee the other night while browsing Mango and had to add it on here. Granted they don’t do it in my size (May have to buy this for one of my daughters), I just thought it was super cute but a little edgy too. Would look great with jeans, shorts and with a little bit of ‘distressing’ (Would probably remove the sleeves) it would look amazing. Not a bad price I feel either. Mango clothes always feel good quality to me, so it would probably last a while too.
I’m actually going to order these the end of this month as I know they’ll end up selling out of them. I love the cut of these shorts. Being high waisted (If you are plus size like me then you may have a little bit ‘extra’ under that bra line and like it covered) it gives you a lot more scope with top choices and feeling comfortable. I like showing my legs in Summer and just because I am a more ‘curvier’ doesn’t mean I can’t show some skin! Its all about confidence girls, these shorts will look amazing with a tan, some sandals or even some heels!
I know what you were thinking, does this girl ever wear any colour?! Ha, well here’s some colour. Actually I’ve bought a lot of vests and tee’s recently in bright colours. This super cute crop top really stands out to me. Its a great price and nice and bright. Another piece you could wear with so many outfit choices, its diverse and you’d be sure to get a lot of wear out of it. I really love the green shades and think this will look amazing with a tan!
