If you are looking for something bright and fun to play with this Summer, then you should really check out the L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop nail polish colours!
The new L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop are described as, ‘Summer 2013 is all about NEON. Fusing Tropicana brights and an arty colour block palette, the L’Oreal Paris NEON POP! Collection offers chic neon colours with juicy cocktail hues. Go NEON POP! On both fingertips and toes alike.’ *source*
If I’m honest I have to agree. This Summer I have seen so many neon things flying about. If you aren’t all about wearing the neon and that’s a little much for you, then painting your toes or fingers with something bright like these Neon Pop shades could be your way of still following the trend instead.
There are 4 shades in the L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop collection;
Flashing Lilac (828), Acid Watermelon (827), Banana Pop (834) and Wasabi Hint (833)
Overall, they are really lovely bright colours. But if you want to intensify them a little more ADD a WHITE nail varnish under the Neon Pop colours, this will make them POP ever more!
All the L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop are ‘creme’ formulas, there is no sparkly or shimmer. They are also high gloss colours as you can see from the images. Each swatch I did was with 2 coats of each polish on a clear base coat. I did not apply a top coat, so you could see the full effect of the polish.
I’d also like to add for those who love Orly’s ‘Basket Case‘, L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop Acid Watermelon is a rather close alternative at a better price!
Also, L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop Banana Pop is very similar too Nails Inc Carnaby Street, again at a fraction of the price!
The L’Oreal Color Riche Neon Pop nail polishes will be available this month (June) in Boots, Superdrug and some supermarkets. So, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for them! Each polish is 5ml and they cost around £4.99.
Keep a look out later this week when I’ll be posting some NOTD and looks you could do with these colours!
Lots of Love,
