Today’s video is a full review on the Silk Argan Fibre Lash Mascara Kit I have been using this past week. Originally this was going to be a first impressions and review video, but the original footage for the first impressions was deleted from my camera somehow.
Here is some more information about the Silk Argan Fibre Lash Mascara…
Infused with Cold Pressed Certified Organic Argan Oil
Acts like instant false eyelashes
Creates thicker and longer lashes in 1 easy application
Buildable – the more you apply, the more dramatic the result
Produced using natural ingredients such as Candelilla and Beeswax – full of anti-inflammatory and conditioning properties
Water Resistant – durable, long lasting
Easy to remove with warm water, facial cleanser or make up remover
Can be used in conjunction with manual or heated curling wands
The kit comes in a nice case which is perfect for transportation of the products, I personally think they should have included a mirror in this case to make it complete.
As you can see from my before and after image you can get great length and volume with the Silk Argan Fibre Lash Mascara kit. You can also repeat the process and add more lash fibres. My top tip with these fibres or any fibre lash mascara is to only apply the fibres from about half way down your lashes to the tips and not to the roots at all. This stops the issue of getting fibres in your eyes. Using this style of mascara and fibres in my opinions does take a little practice to get optimal results.
I shared this image on my Instagram one evening, this is after 11 hours or wear. Note all my makeup has melted off throughout the day, yet the Silk Argan Fibre Lash Mascara is still going strong with no flaking, smudges or anything! In fact, it looks as good as it did when I firs applied it that morning (And yes, I do have an image of a bengal playing an xbox on my ipad!).
Over all, I was impressed with the Silk Argan Fibre Lash Mascara kit. It gave me good length and volume, the mascara is lovely and black and it lasted well on my lashes, better than most mascaras I’ve ever used in fact! with the inclusion of Argan oil in the mascara, its conditioning on the lashes too. The only downside to this product as I said in the video was the fact it had a heavy scent. Although it didn’t irritate my eyes, it was a little overpowering in my opinion.
