I recently filmed a review of the Schwarzkopf Color Mask in Chestnut Brown 568 Permanent Hair Dye, here are my findings…
Here is some information about the Schwarzkopf Color Mask…
Color Mask – the first hair mask colourant!
Color Mask gives you a unique colour experience. It is easy to use – just like a hair mask – and offers natural looking colours with perfect grey coverage.
Experience the rich, hair mask texture for incredibly soft to touch and deeply cared for hair with a healthy glossy shine.
As you can see from the video, the box contents aren’t that or a conventional hair dye. The developer comes in a tub much like a hair mask conditioner and the product is mixed that way too. Application may seem harder as you don’t have the assistance of a developer bottle, but I personally felt it was more accurate as you were able to apply the product exactly where you wanted with your fingers.
Here are the before and afters of my root area. Although I did not apply the colour to my roots it was applied from about 1-2 inches down from the root area. You can see the colour looks more even and toned.
My mid-lengths and ends needed some serious toning and these images show just how well the colour did. It did make my hair darker which I expected, but also gave my hair a more solid even tone. The warmth in the after picture looks quite vibrant but this was because it was in direct sun light. There is no uneven colour as you can see.
I definitely would use this product again, its slightly harder to find some shades in the shops I have found, so ordering online may be easier.
You can purchase Schwarzkopf Color Mask from Superdrug, supermarkets and other online retails. I purchased mine from Amazon and it cost £4.33. it is available in 15 shades (I believe).
Lots of Love,
