For those who saw my March Favourites video recently, you will know I mentioned the Liz Earle Nourishing Botanical Body Cream as one of my favourite body creams at present. As promised here is my review on just how scrumptious it is.
Here is some information about the Liz Earle Nourishing Botanical Body Cream…
This concentrated, deeply hydrating body cream helps the skin retain moisture throughout the day. Shea butter and avocado oil help to soften, while pure orange, lavender and rose-scented geranium essential oils delicately fragrance skin.
Massage Nourishing Botanical Body Cream sparingly into warm skin after bathing for rich, long-lasting hydration.
Naturally active ingredients include shea butter and avocado oil to soften, soothing echinacea, toning hops, antioxidants natural source vitamin E and beta-carotene to help protect.
The packaging is a beautiful pale egg shell blue which is serene and calming. Its a nice sized plastic tube with a flip top lid which is nice and sturdy. Again I have dropped this and it hasn’t broken, so I can vouch for its sturdiness!
Here is some of the cream on my hand, as you can see my skin is really dry looking
You can see here the skin on my hand when the cream has been massaged in looks more hydrated and smooth!
The cream its self is quite thick and is concentrated so you really do not need too much. When massaged into the skin it leaves you feeling soft and supple without that sticky/wet feeling some body creams can leave. I was surprised at how well it absorbed and more so when I realise I didn’t need the usual amount and had applied too much!
Of course with Liz Earle products its not just about the quality, their fragrances are amazing. This cream is definitely for those who love Liz Earle Cleanse and Polishes aroma for the two are very similar in scent. The scent also lingers on your skin after you have massaged it in, which means you are left with the gorgeous scent. This isn’t a heady scent and I found it very relaxing. Mark also commented on how good the scent was on my skin – so men like it too!
For those with sensitive skin I can say my skin didn’t have any reaction to the Liz Earle Botanical Body Cream. I did apply it to some areas where my eczema is mild but it didn’t cause irritation. The Nourishing Botanical Body Cream is designed for all skin types in mind.
The Nourishing Botanical Body Cream is 200ml (6.7 fl.oz) in size and costs £16.75. It is also available in 30ml and 50 ml sizes so perfect for travelling too.
I am a massive fan of Liz Earle products and this cream did not disappoint me in any way what so ever! The cream is rich on your skin and absorbed quickly leaving you soft and supple with a gorgeous aroma. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future as it truly is lovely!
