After my recent Spotlight Post on the Konjac Sponge range (Post here), today I wanted to share with my thoughts on the Konjac Sponge Puff With Added French Pink Clay and how I found using it….
Here is a little information about the Konjac Sponge Puff With Added French Pink Clay….
The perfect facial sponge for sensitive easily irritated, hypersensitive skin. Pink clay is a mix of red and white clay Pink clay is soft, it is recommended for tired, sensitive & dehydrated skins. It helps to turn rough and hardened skin into soft and radiant skin, rejuvenating and plumping and helping return the skins natural elasticity . Excellent for skin that has had lots of sun exposure.
If there is one thing my skin is, its sensitive. Anything I put on it or use always leaves me with concern as to whether my skin will react. I have eczema and psoriasis which can get sore and hard to wash properly without causing discomfort. When I look at the Konjac Sponge range, I felt the Konjac Sponge Puff With Added French Pink Clay was the best one for my skin.
I didn’t really have any expectations as such. Although I had read about the sponge and its properties like many (I am sure) I just thought it would be a normal sponge and not do much else – its an easy assumption, but I admit… I was wrong.
Firstly the Konjac sponge has a strange texture, it doesn’t really feel like a normal sponge even when wet. It feels kind of silky and like you have applied something to it (Other than water). I really didn’t think it would do very much without adding something additional to it (Like soap or cleanser), but I tried it all the same.
On the skin it feels really soft. You almost want to be a little rougher as its so gentle – being so gentle you feel like its not really doing anything. But it is! I was really surprised. My skin felt really cleansed and clean after use, not dry at all (Like it often can be with some cleansers).
I have used many sponges over the years and used to swear by Natural Sponges (Even for my face), but have to say when it comes to cleansing my face this is the best sponge I have ever used. My face really has been appreciating the Konjac Sponge Puff With Added French Pink Clay and I definitely will continue to use it and buy more.
The Konjac Sponge Puff With Added French Pink Clay costs £6.99 which for a good quality sponge with added benefits is more than worth it in my opinion. You can purchase them directly from Konjac Sponge Company and selected Havey Nichols, Selfridges and Fenwick stores.
Lots of Love,
