Another great product to share with you that I featured in my John Frieda Luxurious Volume spotlight the other day, today I would like to introduce you to my thoughts on the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster.

For those people out there with fine hair, sometimes volume can be really hard to achieve, especially at the root area. No matter how much you blow dry or use a heat styler it can often look great for 5 minutes and then become flat afterwards. Its great to look for products that are designed for this problem and John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster does just that.

I am lucky in that my hair isn’t fine, although as the years go on I have noticed its not as thick as it once was. I blow dry my hair after most hair washes and rarely let my hair dry naturally otherwise its a tangled mess. When I do blow-dry I like my style to last so it means minimal extra styling till the next shampoo. The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster helps me create volume at the roots, making my hair appear less flat and it really lasts.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster

I have used the Blow-dry Lotion Root Booster with a round brush, Denman d3 and even my Babyliss Big Hair and found I get amazing results with all 3 styling tools! It’s really easy to use too.

The Root Booster is a pump action spray and applied to towel dried hair. You want to direct the product to the roots, I find sectioning my hair and spray the product directly there especially around the crown and top sections, so the roots are well covered. Then taking my styling tools (Brush and hair dryer usually) I blow-dry in sections to their hair is fully dry and the volume I desire is achieved.

I also found the it really does help with the volume being held afterwards and the following day. Often root boosting products can be a bit heavy and can make the hair flatten because of the weight, but I didn’t find this was the case at all with the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster. It definitely gave me lasting results.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster

Over all, I am really impressed with the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster. Its a reasonably priced product that does what it says on the bottle and worked well on my hair. I can see it working well on fine hair and also those with other hair types who want to create some really good volume at the roots!

The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster costs around £5.89 and is currently on offer at Boots on 3 for 2 across selected products, so definitely worth picking up if you are buying a couple of other things!
