One of the most talked about products at present I kept hearing about was Garnier’s Miracle Skin Protector (Daily all-in-one B.B. Cream). Everyone keeps mentioning this product, is it good and where can I get it as everywhere seems to be selling out? I was luck enough to get my hands on some and thought I’d tell you what I think about it!

Garnier are well known for their skin care products and have jumped on the band wagon by creating their own version of the BB Cream. Most people in the beauty world have heard of BB cream, I like many purchased some of Skin 79’s from the far east to try – I liked the consistency of Skin 79’s and the coverage, what I hated was the ‘grey’ base colour. So when I heard about Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector and the fact it was available in 2 shades (light and medium) I had to try it.

Miracle Skin Perfector  has a hybrid formula  combining skincare with mineral pigments. It boasts it can do many things; evens out skin tone, gives you a healthy glow, blurs imperfections and redness, smooths the appearance of fine lines, hydrates for 24 hours and also contains an spf 15. I can’t test all these claims as I wouldn’t know where to start with the SPF! But I can tell you what I found using this product and whether it’s lived up too my expectations.

The colour I chose is medium as I have a darker complexion due to fake tanning, as I mentioned they do a light formula too so for those who aren’t as dark there is a formula for you. It looks much light a tinted moisturiser so looks slightly darker than what it is on application.

When I applied Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector I immediately noticed 2 things, the red patches in my skin and blemishes were reduced. They weren’t totally covered but I probably wouldn’t need as much concealer as I normally would. Coverage was pretty good, stronger than a normal tinted moisturiser and better than some sheer foundations I’ve tried. My skin looked slightly dewy (In a good way) and fresh. There is not a matt finish but you don’t look like light is bouncing off your skin and making you shiny either. My skin also felt smooth too touch, like I’d freshly moisturised. It felt conditioned and not dry. I did not apply my normal moisturiser before applying this so was really pleased with the result. I do have some fine lines but find with most foundations they don’t look as bad anyway.

Over all I think this cream is fantastic. Wearing it all day and still find coverage is good without fading. I like the finish it gives me skin and also love that my skin doesn’t have any reactions to it either. My skin feels moisturised and look good. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a tinted moisturiser

I purchased mine at Superdrug and it cost me £9.99. The average price I feel for most moisturisers or foundations – but with this product you are getting something that does both and also makes your skin look great!

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
