We all know I love coconut products, today’s review is on the amazing Phil Smith Cocolicious Shampoo and Conditioner and how I’ve found using it these past weeks.

Phil Smith Cocolicious Shampoo and Conditioner

If you follow my blog at all you will no I am coconut oil mad when it comes to my hair. It is one of the best things for you hair as it is one of the few things that can penetrate the hair shaft, thus doing good from within. I love products that contain coconut oil and when I saw the Phil Smith Cocolicious Shampoo and Conditioner I just need I had to give these a go!

Give hair a boost of weightless moisture with this hydrating coconut oil extract formula. A lightweight nourishing cleanse for super-soft, super-shiny hair.

Before I saw anything can we just take a moment to appreciate how good this shampoo smells? If you can get to a shop that sells it, give it a good sniff – it smells amazing (Well, if you like coconut) and it leaves the same gorgeous aroma on your hair too!

I did love the packaging of the Phil Smith Cocolicious Coconut Oil Shampoo, the fact that the shampoo and conditioner are done in 2 different types of packaging makes it easy to grab in the shower and know you have the right one.

I’m a stickler for using conditioner after EVERY wash, my hair would be a birds nest if I didn’t, but will add my hair felt super hydrated and clean after using the shampoo. It almost felt like I’d done a coconut oil treatment and just rinsed it from my hair. Like my hair still had oil there but without the greasy feel (If that makes sense). I definitely will say that you could feel the difference in hydration with my hair although the softness factor didn’t step in till I used the conditioner.

For those with fine hair this may be a bit much for you and could weigh it down a little. I also will add it is VERY Hydrating (See I’ve stressed that 3 times now) and if your hair isn’t on the dry, frizzy spectrum if may make your hair a little oily. This hair range from Paul Smith is a lot more hydrating than their Brunette and Blonde shampoos. So I would only recommend this shampoo for those who’s hair that needs it.

Experience the hydrating wonders of coconut oil with this lightweight conditioner. Light-as-air hair with a bright, pure shine. Loving it!

As I mentioned earlier I always condition my hair, I also like to use a shampoo/conditioner by the same range and brand as they work best together that way. The Phil Smith Cocolicious Coconut Oil Conditioner is yummy! It smells amazing, just like the shampoo but a little better – if that’s possible?!

I have used this conditioner 2 different ways; firstly as a regular conditioner where I pop it on my hair after shampooing and rinse and secondly, by popping it on towel dried hair after shampooing and leaving it on as a treatment. Both ways are brilliant and they made my hair super soft. This conditioner is really good after a colouring/bleaching process too for putting back moisture and softness into your hair. My hair looks and feels amazing after using this, much smoother on the ends, glossy and soft.

Over all, I think the Phil Smith Cocolicious Coconut Oil Conditioner is brilliant and will say if your hair is dry, damaged, frizzy and in need of some TLC, then to give this conditioner a go as it worked wonders on me!

Over all, I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Phil Smith Cocolicious Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair has loved the process and if it wasn’t for popping my extensions back in (These products are not sulphate free) I would still be using them, still once my extensions are out again I definitely will be going back to using these. I have also tried using them on my daughters hair who I’ve just done bayalage on and they worked amazingly well (She has super thick, coarse hair). I still would ere on the side of caution if your hair is ultra fine as these may weigh you down a little, but otherwise I thoroughly recommend these. It was definitely love at first wash!

The Phil Smith Cocolicious Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner are both super reasonably priced at £3.50 each and each product contains 350ml so good sizes too. Phil Smith products are available in Sainsburys stores and online through their grocery shopping.
