I don’t do many outfit posts, namely as I tend to wear the same sort of thing daily. However, as I haul a lot of clothes I thought I’d start, so here is my casual OOTD featuring some New Look and River Island pieces.
Admittedly I’m more of a curvy girl (Which has always been the case whatever my weight), but at present I can wear both plus size and in most brands normal size clothes. I love layering as I get warm quite easily, so often you will find me with a light weight sweater and vest combo. This is why I especially love this River Island Fine Knit Leather Look Trim Jumper, being slightly sheer (Or more loosely knitted), it looks great with crop tops and vests under neath. I also love the neck detail at the back of the jumper and will often wear my hair up (Nothing like showing a little skin after all). I teamed the jumper with a black cami vest from New Look. I have these in an assortment of colours and find they wash up very well and also seem to hold their shape – so thoroughly recommend them if you like layering too.
On the bottom half I am wearing my new New Look Inspire Skinny Jeans, these I’d purchased a few days before and had got them with £3.99 off, so only cost me £11.00 on ASOS. I love the deep indigo colour of them which I think is very flattering. I do have to be honest though and say I think these are more of a straight leg rather than a skinny. They are not fitted at the ankles, which I think looks fine with pumps but not really with boots. So, if you are looking for a skinny jean I’d recommend looking at the £24.99 ones they do which I believe are more fitted in the Inspire range. I would also like to add I got these in my regular clothes size, but after wearing them once and having to pull them up repeatedly wished I’d bought them in a smaller size (I will be investing in a belt in future!), so I do feel they have a generous stretch and cut to them.
