Back with another nail of the day post today featuring another Summer bright shade which will make your tan POP!
I’m a huge fan of Barry M Gelly polishes and have featured loads on my blog now (For previous posts click here…). I love the polishes because of their finishes, price and colour range. When in Boots yesterday I picked up 2 more colours and today wanted to share with you the shade Satsuma (GNP7).
Oranges look amazing with tans and with the current bright colour trend still in effect Satsuma is a beautiful bright polish which will see you through – not forgetting orange is a key colour this Summer.
As with all the Barry M Gelly nail polishes, they are all high gloss finishes which have the same appearance on the nail as Shellac and Gelac polishes, obviously without the longevity. Having said that, I do find they last reasonable well on the nail and you can get a good 3+ days wear without chips.
For a polish which is slightly thicker in consistency they also dry in a good amount of time. I still generally will apply 2 coats with Barry M Gelly Polishes as I like a perfect opaque finish – I also find the layering helps them last longer.
Overall, Satsuma (GNP7) is a beautiful bright orange (Think of a burnt orange shade, deep orange sunsets… You get the picture) colour and sadly I wish I had purchased it sooner for Summer. It makes your tan stand out, looks amazing on your nails and is a great price too!
The Barry M Gelly Polishes are available in 14 shades (For full shade range click here) and cost around £3.99 for 10ml of polish. You can purchase them directly from Barry M Cosmetics and also buy them in most Boots stores/online and in Superdrug. At present Boots has their complete Nail Varnish range on Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price. So its a good time to take advantage!
Lots of Love,
