I’m really excited to share with you my thoughts on the new No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation, with pictures of before and after too.

No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation in Warm Ivory

Here is a little information about the No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation…

Life can throw a lot at you and the experts at No7 know that women want to face it with a gorgeous, natural complexion from day to night. So for women to have close-up confidence at any time, NEW No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation has been formulated to give a long lasting finish with a barely-there feel; to stay put and stay perfect for up to 24 hours.

Now you can have all day coverage in a beautifully light formulation.  The unique superlight formulation glides on to give a naturally flawless look with a weightless, silky soft feel so you hardly notice it’s there. Yet it’s enriched with Vitamin E to help protect and repair the skin and a moisturising complex to keep skin feeling hydrated all day.  This non-pore blocking formula works on all skin types, it won’t flake on dry skin nor shine on oily skin.

As you know I have used the Match Made Service (Review here) and am lucky that I was matched in 2 colours, cool beige and warm beige. My skin is slightly paler at present and is currently in the shade Warm Ivory. Remember, if you were shade matched a few months back, your skin tones may have changed – so get matched again, its free after all.

I have used many light coverage foundations in the past but was really impressed with the coverage of the Superlight Foundation. It really does do what it says on the tin. It gives you light coverage and masks some skin imperfections as well as blemishes. It has more coverage than a BB cream in my opinion and gave my skin a semi matte finish. In the Summer I would not bother powdering over this as I liked the finish, but in the Winter where I prefer more of a matte finish I set the foundation with a little translucent powder.

I loved the texture of the product too. It felt super moisturising on my skin, but not in a greasy/oily way. In fact, the best way to describe how it felt on my skin was like moisturiser, almost in a barely there feeling. If you like that feeling on your face like your skin can breath – this is the foundation fro you.

The No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation claims to last 24 hours. Now as I say with many of my reviews, I do not think many people would wear their foundation that long (I certainly wouldn’t), but did notice it lasted well on my skin without a primer and needed minimal touch ups. It also brightened my skin somewhat, which is at present looking a little dull like it always does in the Winter.

Over all, this is a really love Foundation. I can see No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation being very popular in Spring and Summer and feel its a great addition to the No7 range. I definitely would repurchase once this has ran out (Possibly in a darker shade as I tan well in the Summer). It is a build-able coverage and you can easily work more product into the areas you need it before concealing those stubborn blemishes for better coverage.

The No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation will cost £14.50 and is available in 14 skin true shades from Boots and boots.com from 22 January. There is a current waiting list form for interest in this foundation here (http://www.boots-waitinglist.com/no7/stayperfect/)
