No7 have 2 new beautiful palettes for the face and today I’m sharing my thoughts on the No7 Shimmer Palette in Caramel, a beautiful colour block of caramel and golden tones.
Being a magpie in a former life, I am always attracted to shiny, sparkly things. If it has pretty packaging and something special inside then I admit I have to try it. The new No7 Shimmer Palettes are just that. Available in 2 shades; Rose (Can be used as a blusher to add a soft flush of pink to your look) and Caramel (Is perfect to add a glow and shimmer to your cheekbones) its perfect for the summer.
Here is some information on the No7 Shimmer Palette in Caramel….
Get an all-year-round glow with No7 Shimmer Palette. The No7 Shimmer Palette is made up of flattering shades to give an extra lift to your complexion.
Its spectrum of colours mean it can be used to enhance your summer tan or add warmth to winter skin.
Firstly can we just appreciate how beautiful the packaging is before I start this review? Its a slightly rose gold, its reflective and if you are anything like me you will keep wiping your finger prints of of it – what can I say, its too pretty for marks! The casing is secure and has a nice size mirror for on the go.
The Shimmer palette in caramel has 4 shades in the 1 colour block. You could easily use this as eye shadow as well as enhancing your cheeks etc to compliment your look. The colours can be all mixed together or you can take a swipe a long each one. I’ve found for an all over golden glow mixing them all together and applying them with a large bronzer brush or powder brush is perfect.
The Shimmer palette has a beautiful texture, the shades are buttery and blend beautifully for powders and I found the colour pay off was brilliant! So much so, I’d say go gently with this palette and build it up as it really does give you an amazing golden glow very easily! The powder doesn’t give much fall out at all, in fact I’ve not detected any and as I said before blends like a dream.
So, would I recommend the No7 Shimmer Palette in Caramel, that would be a hell yeah! Its beautiful, the colour pay off is gorgeous, you can use it as eye shadow as well as giving your complexion (And chest area if you want an extra bit of sparkle) that gorgeous golden glow that we all associate with Summer and it will suit most skin tones too! Maybe we should name this the JLo Palette?
