I love getting info on new brands and today wanted to share my thoughts on some Nail HQ products and why I think they are definitely worth a mention.
Now I really wanted to test all these products well and have been using them just short of a month to get a good feel for them and see (If there are any) benefits of using them. So myself and Mark (Who likes to have a manicure too) have been giving them a thorough testing. As Nail products (With the exception of cuticle oil) generally aren’t meant for daily use I have left it this long before I record my feelings.
The 3 products I am sharing with you today are the Nail HQ Growth, All in One and Cuticle Oil. Each product is made by Nail HQ and their products are made in the UK.
Here is a little information about the Nail HQ Growth….
Formulated with Pentavitin ‘Moisture Magnet’ and a unique nail strengthening complex including Biotin. These replenishing ingredients help provide the moisture balance necessary for flexible nails and to prevent brittleness and breakage. This formula also contains a unique complex designed to help moisturise, condition and strengthen nails.

Probably my favourite product of the 3, I have been wearing this on my nails now for nearly a month. I have used it 6 times in that time on my fingers (Each time I have changed my polish) and twice on my toes. So, this product has had a very good testing.
Now, I don’t really like to liken products to others as its based on an opinion. However, when you see results I feel you have to speak up. My favourite nail strengthening product of all time is Nail Envy by Opi. Anyone who has ever wanted stronger nails has probably heard of that product. Well, the Nail HQ Growth in my opinion has worked as well on my nails as Nail Envy ever did! Where my nails were softer from nail tips and also my love of UV cured nail polishes, although they weren’t splitting, the growth had slowed somewhat and they didn’t feel as strong. Now although I have stopped using nail tips I still favour uv cured polishes and since using Nail HQ Growth have noticed length increase, but not only that – my nails are much stronger now! In fact, you wouldn’t know I had been abusing my nails so much!
I haven’t broken one in nearly 4 weeks now. No split, cracks or anything. So, I feel this product is a must have in my opinion and would buy this over OPI Nail Envy in the future (Especially when it has a smaller price tag!).
Nail HQ Growth costs £6.99 for 10ml.
Here is some information on the Nail HQ All In One…
A multi-solution product with Argan Oil and a replenishing mineral complex, these ingredients help provide the moisture balance necessary to have flexible nails and prevent brittleness and breakage. This formula also contains a unique mineral complex designed to help moisturise, condition and strengthen. A real all-in one!

Now this product I have been using solely on Mark as he has terrible cracked nails. Most mens nails aren’t fantastic, but his have a tendency to crack down the middles and it can be quite painful for him.
All in One from Nail HQ is designed for brittle, soft, weak nails and although his are fairly rigid I was hoping this product would help with his cracking. I am pleased to say since using this product not one of his nails has cracked (Well, not on his hands, but I really don’t want to be giving him a pedicure right now!!). It has a semi matte finish, so isn’t too glossy (It looks like a you have used 3 stages of a 4 stage buffer) and would be great for men who want stronger nails and less breakage without the shine. You can also wear this under polish as a base coat like you can with the Growth formula).
I have been really impressed with this on Mark’s nails and would use this on other men clients too as it doesn’t scream glossy and definitely does what it says on the tin!
The Nail HQ All In One costs £7.99 for 10ml of product.
And lastly here is a little information about the Nail HQ Cuticle Oil…
Unique oil therapy treatment designed to help moisturise and condition the nails and cuticle area. The non greasy formulation rejuvenates and softens the deteriorated, dry, lifeless skin. Containing jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, beta-carotene as well as Vitmains E, A and D3, these nutrients will help revitalise and restore the skin’s necessary moisture levels. This will help to prevent and cracking and peeling.

Out of all the Nail Hq products, the Cuticle Oil is the one we have used the most as it is something you can use daily.
I have used many cuticle oils being a nail tech and have quite a variety in my collection. What I really loved about this one was its mild scent. Some Cuticle Oils can be so overpowering in fragrance that it can be quite nauseating! The scent of the Nail HQ Cuticle Oil is very mild. Its a lovely formula which isn’t heavily greasy or oily and absorbs well into the skin. Using this once a day has meant my cuticles are much healthier and look better. I have also noticed growth too, although this could also be down to using the other Nail HQ products.
I would definitely consider using this product on clients and both myself and mark think this is a lovely product too.
The Nail HQ Cuticle Oil costs £6.99 for 10ml of product.
So, that concludes my review of 3 products from the Nail HQ range. Over all, its thumbs up over here and I would definitely try more of their products. In fact I already have my eye on their Gel Top Coat which is £6.49. None of these products are instant fixes, but I feel with continued use you would see benefits. I certainly did and I know Mark’s a lot happier now his nails aren’t cracking down the centres!
The Nail HQ range is available at selected Tesco stores and shortly will be released on Amazon.co.uk.
