If you follow me at all you will know blusher is the one thing I’m not confident in. I really dislike pink blushers, they actually look ok on me and bring out my blue eyes, but I see pink blush and still think of the neon pinks of the 80’s <shudders>. I do however love a warm, almost ‘tan’ coloured blush and that’s not something you often find in a blush palette, that was until I checked out the MAKEUP REVOLUTION Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice.
Here is a little information on the MAKEUP REVOLUTION Ultra Blush Palette Hot Spice…
Our ULTRA Blush & Contour palette is perfect for the professional application desired by all of us. Perfect for highlighting and contouring too.
Professional and highly pigmented, yet easy to blend, these contain 8 shades consisting of shimmer and matte blushers, merged baked blusher, and merged baked highlighter powder. The ULTIMATE blush palette offering you 8 shades in 1 to suit any occasion!
I have swatched all of these shades with and without flash, I’ve played with them and can honestly not thank Stina enough when it comes to finding this palette. This really should be renamed the 30Sm palette as its perfect for me. All the blushers are warm orange/spicy tones. They blend like a dream and are a powder formula, although feel really buttery on application. They are a little powdery, but tapping off the excess on your brush before application remedies that issue. I apply them over my powdered skin, I find they do blend better that way. They are quite pigmented, so a little does go a long way. Although with blusher I always think its best to build it up, rather than slap too much on and panic!
The MAKEUP REVOLUTION Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice is a great compact too as you have the large mirror and a nice stiff closure, so would work well for travel too. The casing feels nice and secure and sturdy too.
When it comes to lasting power of this blush palette, I found it lasted well on my skin and the colours all compliment each other, so you can mix and match them. If you are of the warm skin tones family, I do wonder if this might be a little too warm for you, however on my pale cool toned skin I am totally rocking this right now (Sorry, but due to my eczema under my eyes, I am not putting a pic up of me wearing these. However, once the inflammation goes down I will do a new GRWM and show you the palette in action then).
Over all, I absolutely love this palette. The Ultra Blush palette from MAKEUP REVOLUTION is another gem in their collection and I thoroughly recommend it! I also want to thank Stina again for running the giveaway and me being lucky enough to win!
