Today’s post is about my final product I picked up in my Chemist Direct haul, the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream and how its become a favourite product to use in my skin care regime.
Here is a little information about the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream…
A daily skin perfecting cream formulated by L’Oreal to give your skin a fuller and plumper look whilst reducing the appearance of dark circles, uneven skin tone and tiredness. It contains Anti fatigue micro pearls and Perline-P to instantly reduce the appearance of fatigue and give you a fresh and glowing look every day. It also contains SPF20 to protect the skin from damaging UV rays. Use as a daily Moisturiser.

Admittedly I don’t use the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream how I probably should. With it being Winter and my skin really taking a battering I’ve been using my intensive serum on my skin daily to help moisturise and then have been using the Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream over the top of it. This has really helped to calm my skin down a bit doing it this way and really target those dry patches I’ve been struggling with. As the weather warms up I could then ditch the serum and just use this on a day to day basis.

The L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream is one of those creams that has those little micro thingies in it, so when applied to the skin and massaged in you get a pigment come out. I find some of them can be really hit and miss, especially when they claim to help with dull, tired skin and can make you look orange (Not attractive!), but was really surprised that this product did exactly what it said it would!
For those with perfect skin you could easily wear this alone, I personally like to wear it under a light foundation (Usually MAC Face & Body or No7 Super Light Foundation) and find it makes my skin look flawless! when using L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream my pores are minimised, my face has that glow to it looking brighter and more alive and best of all there’s an SPF 20 in there too for sun protection.

L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream claims to give you skin hydration up to 24 hours, with me currently using my serum under it I can’t really say how long it lasts, although will add on the rare occasion I did use just this my skin alone it did feel good and my dry patches were kept at bay most of the day.
I have included a close up of my forehead of all things wearing just this product, my pores there are really bad and probably the worst on all of my face, however as you can see from the picture they do look minimised and not bad at all. You can also see the product has hydrated my skin too without making it look greasy. I love this product for what it does to my pores!

So over also I have found the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream has been a perfect purchase from Chemist Direct and thoroughly recommend it! It makes my pores smaller, helps my make up last longer, leaves my skin looking brighter and also has an SPF20 plus hydrated my skin and all for a drugstore/pharmacy product! Even on my sensitive skin I have had no issues with this, so really do recommend giving it a go if you can.
The L’Oreal Skin Perfection Perk-Up Cream cost £9.99 for 35ml of product from Chemist Direct.
