I’ve been really excited to share with you my thoughts on the new mineral eyeshadow from Living Nature. I’ve had it a little while and been giving it a thorough testing, using it in different ways.

The mineral eyeshadow is a very versatile product, although I don’t wear eye shadow daily I have been able to incorporate this product into my routine easily. The eyeshadow in Slate is a soft black, extremely dark grey matte which works better for those who want to achieve a smokey eye, but may struggle, or not like the intensity of a black. However, I have also found you can layer this and achieve a good black result too.
The shadow is a nice firm consistency, but when added with a damp brush becomes like a liner. This is great for working it into the lash line or creating a dramatic cat eye look. I also find it lasts very well even without a primer. Although it is firm, it is easy to load a brush and get a build-able result, there can be a small amount of fall out, but by tapping your brush, you can remove excess and minimise this.
As well as creating a good smokey eye with this shadow, I have found it’s great for creating that smudgy, rock chick look too. I wear this daily and find it lasts throughout the day on me too, so this mineral shadow from Living Nature has some lasting power too.
Overall, I’ve been really impressed with Slate Mineral Shadow, its a good colour being a soft black and will suit more people rather than a harsh black. It works great wet or dry and a small amount of product is all you need to create a great look. Being matte is its extremely versatile and better for a day to day product.
