Lippy Girl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick in Ski Bunny

You all know how I love trying new brands and products, today’s post is on the Lippy Girl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick in Ski Bunny.

The first thing I looked at with the brand was the really fun lipstick names, I love original names for products and it also means that I’m more likely to remember the product too with it being different. Some of my favourites in their shade names are Son of a Brick, Hot Diggity Yam and Fancy Pants. See with names like those, you are unlikely to forget them. I chose Ski Bunny which I thought was super cute too.

Now when I think of Ski Bunny’s I think of the slopes obviously and imagine a nude pale pink lippy, that is exactly what Ski Bunny is – so the names really apt too.

Here is a little information about the lipsticks…

This premium line of amazing lipsticks are made with organic and wildcrafted, natural oils and waxes and only natural mineral pigments.  100% vegan, bee-free, gluten free and chemical free!  These lippies are made with certified organic Castor Seed Oil, Jojoba seed oil, Carnauba Wax, and Shea Butter for the smoothest, creamiest finish, and super pigmented with natural minerals.  Vegocentrics are moisturing and long lasting, and will not bleed!

Plus, Vegocentric Lippies come in a bigger and better size of 5grams, and 100% recyclable aluminum tubes!

Vegocentric lipsticks are simply the best vegan lipsticks available with no bees products or polybutene/petroleum.  We recommend you only raise the bullet in the tube minimally when applying, as they are very soft and creamy.

The lipstick has a really good creamy consistency but unlike other vegan products I have tried before doesn’t feel too waxy. I instantly could tell this would last well on my lips. My lips felt hydrated and supple which around this time of year is super important I feel when choosing a lipstick. The Lippy Girl lipstick glided onto my lips evening and had good pigmentation too. My lips are fairly dry at present (Namely from wearing a lot of lip liner and matte formula lipsticks) so this colour did show up the flaws of my lips. However, when blended a little with my finger it looked great.

As I said before Ski Bunny is a pale pink nude, its your lips but better. If you have fair/light skin tones this lipstick will be a good nude for you. Medium skin tones and darker, this will look a shocking pale pink, it will emphasise a tan too. It reminded me of MAC Hue without the glossy finish. This Lippy Girl lipstick was more of a creme formula and almost looked slightly matte on my lips, my favourite kind of formula!

As for lasting power, I did find it lasted fairly well even with my coffee/green tea drinking and regular touch ups where minimal.

Over all, I’m really impressed with the Lippy girl lipstick formula, I will definitely be looking at more shades in the brand and recommending them too, especially those who prefer vegan cosmetics.

The Lippy Girl lipstick range is available at Botanical Brands, each lipstick costs £12.50 each for 5g of product.
