And so its the final box for 2014 from Glossybox and I am excited to see what is in December’s box. I admit, I’m liking the whole subscription thing at present and will continue this one for a while to see what other goodies they have.
As with all subscription features on my blog, if you do not want to see what is in December’s Glossybox the do not read any further into this post! However, if you do want to see what’s in my box, then keep on reading….
Inside my December Glossy Box I had….
Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain in Coral – Bellapierre Cheek and Lip Stain is a super blendable, 2-in-1, handbag hero to finish off any look.
This coral cheek and lip stain is a really nice shade. I do think it will suit most skin tones and it blends out really nicely. I didn’t detect any fragrance at all on this, so will be great for those who don’t like strong scents, especially if you use it on your lips. I’m intrigued to try this out and see what its like, so look out for a review post shortly!
Full size £12.00 5g (Product supplied was full size)
TRESemme Renewal Hair and Scalp Nourish & Renew Tonic – With tea tree extract and sunflower seed oil, this salon quality tonic will instantly help to nourish your scalp and renew your hair.
This product from TRESemme really did interest me. Years ago when I worked using Goldwell products we had a hair tonic my boss swore by (It didn’t smell great though as it was Nettle based). This hair tonic smells really good and the whole idea behind it sounds amazing, so I’m excited to be trying this one out (Just hoping it does’t mess with my tape in extensions – review to follow so I will let you know!!).
Full size £5.50 for 150ml (Product supplied was full size)
Anatomicals Zap! Zap! Zap! Get That Chap. Day and Night Spot Stick – This double ended product is a real savoir, it has a day time formula and an evening formula to work on spots all day long.
The Zap! Zap! Zap! stuff from Anatomicals is not a new product to me. I’ve heard about this one before… A LOT! Its a bit of a cult product with some and I’ve heard it really does work, as I don’t get many spots (Those I do get are usually cystic and hormonal ones, yes even at my age!) I’ve never invested in it. Still I’m interested in this and if it is as good as it claims, will be letting my teen daughters try it out too when they have breakouts. A really good price as well, so VERY affordable.
Full size £3.79 (Product supplied was full size)
Essence Colour & Go Nail Polish in Do You Speak Love? – The Essence Colour & Go range has a highly intensive gel-shine finish and an extremely short drying time for perfectly polished nails in a flash.
I have tried other Essence products, but never one of their nail polishes. Do You Speak Love? is a beautiful, intense red which I will swatch in a day or 2 and let you know how it lasts on the nails. It is a true bright red though and perfect for the Christmas season on first glance.
Full size €2.99 for 8ml (Product supplied was full size)
SkinPep Hydra Boost – Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum – Hydra boost contains the clinically proven cell communicating ingredient, Hyaluronic acid, in a perfume free, alcohol free, hypo allergenic formulation that will promote healthy skin glow.
I am VERY interested to try this but will have to hold off while my eczema flare up settles. It looks amazing and I’ve heard of the benefits of Hyaluronic Acid, so can see me purchasing a full size product if I do get good results. I will definitely review this one as I think it will interest quite a few people, especially from a sensitive skin point of view.
Full size £24.99 for 70ml (Sample size of 15ml supplied about £3.75)
I personally feel the December Glossybox is pretty good value for money. 4 out of the 5 products are full size and the value of the box easily is higher than the subscription fee. I’m not disappointed at all and am pleased with my boxes contents. Admittedly I’d like to have seen more ‘party ready’ or ‘Christmas themed’ items, however I am intrigued to try the products I’ve got and think the box for December is really great!
