Its not often I get SUPER EXCITED over a lipstick, but today’s post is on the super gorgeous Gerard Cosmetics Jaclyn Hill 1995 Lipstick and why if you love the 90’s trend you really need to make the investment!
Now as much as I hate to say this, I was a teen in the 90’s (Well, some of it. In fact I also had my early 20’s then too!) and many of the trends that are floating around now I remember doing the first time around. The thing with a 90’s lip is it needs to be nude, also brown toned and have a hint of a rose to it too. Pretty tall order really huh? I think of the 90’s lip and instantly think of Madonna’s Rain video – now that is the perfect 90’s lip!
So, to find the perfect lipstick that recreates that (Or gives you those Kylie Jenner lips) can be hit and miss. That was until I saw the Gerard Cosmetics Jaclyn Hill 1995 Lipstick!
Here is a little information about the Gerard Cosmetics Jaclyn Hill 1995 Lipstick…

I could go on and on about this lipstick as I think the images speak louder than words. So let me just give you the key points about this lipstick and answer the questions I think you will want answered;
Its a matte formula but not drying on your lips (Unlike MAC which I find always dry my lips out badly)
Being matte it means it lasts really well. I’ve found even with my heavy tea/coffee drinking it still lasts well on my lips and even without a lip liner on
The pigmentation is instant! You really don’t need to apply loads to get a good finish. One swipe and my lips look perfect (Whether I line them or not)
Will this give you the Kylie Jenner colour if that’s what you are wanting to achieve? Personally I’d say, ‘Hell Yes!’ At least in my opinion this is what I call a proper 90’s lip colour and is bang on trend right now
So, am I glad I ordered this all the way from the states? Let’s be honest ordering from another country can be daunting, especially when its makeup. However, I knew this lipstick was for me. I’d seen a few reviews and swatches and it looked too good to pass up. I also managed to find a codes which I used too and it meant at the end of the day (With exchange rates etc) the lipstick cost me just over £9 and in my opinion is well worth that and I can spend that on a lipstick in this country!
