A pharmacy skincare product is something I often struggle with. Many of the products either cause me to break out or flare up my other skin complaints. I have sensitive skin which doesn’t like change at all, so new products are a complete minefield. When I first saw the Garnier Miracle Skin Cream I was excited to try it, but also apprehensive. I have had reactions to other Garnier products before and being unsure what the ingredient that upsets my skin so much is, I never know whether I am going to be ok trying it. From the first application of Miracle Skin Cream my skin drank it up and begged for more.
Having read the claims of what this product can do before trying it (Something I don’t ordinarily do), I was pretty sure they were somewhat boastful. The reason being, I would expect results of this kind from a high-end product with a high-end price tag, but not something I could purchase at my local Boots for £12.99. To say I have been slightly blown away by what the Miracle Skin Cream does to my skin is an understatement. Here are my findings…
The cream transforms as you massage it into the face. It feels smooth, silky and plumped.
My skin felt super hydrated without feeling sticky or wet. It looked fresh and healthy.
My skin did appear more flawless, yes I would still need to conceal etc some blemishes but the appearance of my skin instantly looked better, more even and brighter. (In other words I had lost my zombie like appearance).
I definitely had an luminosity to my skin. Almost like I had applied a brightening primer.
The fact I got all these results instantly on every application said a lot to me. So, I continued using the Miracle Skin Cream daily (I only apply it in the morning) and am amazed by just how good my skin looks these days. Yes I still have the occasional hormonal breakout, but generally my skin has lost its grey pallor and looks so much healthier. Having used this for 4 weeks now I do think it also helps with wrinkles and fine lines as I have also noticed an improvement with these too.
Over all, I have been so impressed with this product that I have ditched quite a few of my others. Although the first one was sent to my for review purposes, I have already repurchased this as I don’t want to be without it. I haven’t been applying a primer over this either before foundation, I find the foundation seems to love the product and adhere to it amazingly well. The brightening qualities that the Miracle Skin Cream give my face are also visible under my foundation too. This is a product I would be happy wearing alone in Summer and it also contains an SPF 20 which is great. I will definitely continue to use this as I have fallen in love!
The Garnier Miracle Skin Cream is available from Boots, Superdrug and some pharmacies and supermarkets. It costs £12.99 for 50ml of product.
