Today I wanted to spotlight the FRONTCOVER Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection, I have to say I think this is one of the best collections FRONTCOVER have released to date. This post is as much for me as it is for you, as I love seeing what the new collections hold.
Monochromes reigned on the runway …black and white and every conceivable tone and half tone between.
Then every now and then a whoosh of intense colour appeared as a block or sometimes just as the mearest detail .Teal green……. cobalt blue…..firey orange….. jewel like purples…..these are the hottest shades of the season.
The colour intensity of these powder pigments is immense……. these six beautiful jewel like shades all featured heavily in the collections this season and will bring high fashion and drama to your make up.
Also included in a silver holographic glitter which looks fantastic alone or can provide the finishing touch to the endless number of looks that can be achieved with this kit together with Shadowline the perfect base for these iridescent loose powder eye products.
Never have lips been so important… matte, glossy, cupids bow, pout…. whatever colour you heart desires…but they must be perfect.
This kit has a spectrum of beautiful colours from the palest blot out nude to the deepest shade of crushed plum.
It also includes a lip stain which if used alone will change colour to suit your skin tone or used as a base for a lipstick gives a long lasting matte finish, or if a glossy mouth is your style use the top coat lip gloss over your favourite lipstick shade.
Frontcover Midnight Collection. This fabulous collection features three of Frontcover’s signature domed, baked powder eyeshadows, mini lipsticks, blusher, nail polish, eye pencil and more. Get a complete look for eyes, lips, cheeks and nails with the very latest colours from this season.
All things that sparkled and shone featured on the runway for this season……. metallic fabrics, gold threads and twinkling glittery eye make up. This collection is a spectrum of iridescent colour and dazzling eye effects in a single box….. domed baked powder, twinkle powders, deeply intense metallic pigments and iridescent glitter and step by step application instructions by Frontcover’s resident make-up artist.
All that glisters remains the watchword for this season…….glitter is a big story for both eyes and nails.
Using the glitter eye gel as a base makes the application of glitter to the eyelid a piece of cake and ensures it stays there and simply dipping a just polished nail into a glitter pot before it dries is just the simplest nail art trick of all.
Three on trend nail polish shades complete the kit in shades of Violet Eyes, Darkness and Old Gold.
TOTALLY TIMELESS COLOUR COLLECTION FOR EYES, LIPS AND CHEEKS + ALL THE TOOLS AND EXPERTISE TO MAKE YOU THE MAKE-UP ARTIST
This kit really embodies our approach to ‘wardrobe basics’. Think of this as your classic white shirt, jeans and neutral underwear, the ‘go with everything’ collection – your everyday make-up essentials in one box. FASHION IS NOW, STYLE IS FOREVER.
The ultimate eyeshadow library….a spectrum of beautiful iridescent baked powder eyeshadow shades from nude to exotic and metallic to bright….this kit brings together the very latest shades to rock the catwalk with timeless staples that every girl needs in her make up wardrobe.
All the shades may be clicked into the slim mirror compact which will fit even the smallest clutch bag.
The kit also includes Shadowbase the perfect eye primer turning up the volume and intensity of the eyeshadow and Shadowline a fluid which turns any eyeshadow into an eyeliner at the flick of a wand.
Although in honesty, I think they are all really fantastic and would be happy with any of these in my Christmas stocking. Having tried several of the FRONTCOVER cosmetics sets before and bought some as gifts for friends too, I have to say I feel they are really good value for money and good quality too. My Dark Arts Nail Art Set (Review here) from last year is still used now and has lasted really well. I definitely have to get my hands on the new Nail Art set, the red polish and nail stickers have to grace my nails!
They also make really good stocking fillers! While writing this post, my eldest daughter has mentioned she would like several things too, there is something for all ages and a good price range too for most budgets.
