One thing I love about Eylure lashes is they come with pretty much everything you need. The only additional thing you may need is tweezers (If you use them to apply, which I do) and a mirror. Other than that in the box you have full instruction, 1 set of false lashes and adhesive.
Unlike some false lashes out their, the Punk Princess lashes from Eylure have a white band which is fairly fine and will conceal a lot more naturally that those with a black band. It means you don’t have to wear liner if you get them close enough to your natural lashes.
The lashes look a lot more ‘fancy’ and dramatic in the box I feel than they are on. In fact I’ve been saving these a while now before wearing them because I thought they would be super dramatic, but decided to give them a go at last for in the day time and found them that great in-between ‘natural’ and ‘dramatic’. Not too much, in fact I think these are perfect for day time.
Application time I feel is down to how confident you are with applying false lashes. I find I apply them quicker than it takes for the glue to dry tacky. Applying false lashes takes patience and practice, so if you are new to applying false lashes just take your time and don’t stress if it doesn’t work first time. Remember, you may need to trim the lashes to fit your eye, so gently place them on your eyes before adding the glue to measure them. I also need to trim mine and as a rule always trim from the outer edge not the inside where the lashes are shorter.
I don’t apply mascara to blend my lashes whenever I apply them for the first time. I like to reuse them as much as possible. So the images above are all without mascara. In fact the only thing I do to my lashes before apply falsies is curl them. I didn’t apply liner either as these blended nicely and I didn’t feel I needed too. The lash adhesive that comes with Eylure false lashes is really quite good and perfectly .
Overall I did really like the Punk Princess lashes from the Katy Perry collection. My only issue with the lashes was the band was a little ‘scratchy. No idea why as it was the end I didn’t trim (Where the shorter lashes were) and as I’ve never had an issue with Eylure lashes before I think this is probably a one off. Still, they were wearable and it just meant I had to snip a little off the shorter lash end so they were comfortable when I wore them the following time. They look really natural, very flirty and I got 4 uses out of these lashes before I have to bin them – so good value for money too. I will always be a big fan of Eylure lashes as I find they are amazing quality and a brand I always go back too.
