You may remember I reviewed the Eye Of Horus Goddess Smokey Eye Pencil a while back (Review post here) and it was an eye pencil that frequented my makeup bag as it stayed put on my eyes super well and even on my water line. When I saw the Eye Of Horus Scarab Sapphire Goddess Eye Pencil, I just had to try it and see if it had the same last power and colour pay off.
Here is some information on the Eye Of Horus Scarab Sapphire Goddess Pencil…
Eye of Horus’ Goddess Eye Pencils are exceptionally highly pigmented and easy to apply with a smudging applicator on the reverse end. The formulas are waterproof, smudge-proof and long lasting.
So whether you are looking to introduce some colour to your look, or just looking to wear your feline flicks with a twist, Eye of Horus Scarab Sapphire has your back.

From the moment I swatched the Eye Of Horus Scarab Sapphire Goddess Pencil I knew I had found the most amazing blue shade. Although I have blue eyes I knew it would still bring out the colour of them, but admit this would like absolutely amazing on hazel/brown eyes. Who am I kidding, even the green eyed people will look amazing with this colour on!
The formula is exactly the same as the Goddess Smokey Eye Pencil, it is smooth, creamy and blends like a dream. You have about 30 seconds to work with before it dries and once it does, it doesn’t really budge at all. When they say this eye pencil is smudge proof once dry, I do tend to agree unless you give it a severe rubbing! The eye pencil is also waterproof, it is one of the few I wear on my waterline and find it does stay put. As well as the pencil end, the opposite end also has a sponge domed applicator which is great for smudging the liner out and creating a more smokey effect.
Scarab Sapphire is an intense deep blue, there is an element of metallic there in the colour, but not in a heavy disco way and it is totally wearable. This pencil is great for both day and night use. I have also used it to do a cat eye liner with and think the deep blue looks amazing and is a nice change from wearing the standard black. Although if you do prefer a black liner, why not try this just on the lower lash line?
In some lights I feel this pencil looks navy, others ins more of an intense deep blue. Either way I think its an absolutely striking colour and can’t wait to play with it a bit more. With the Eye of Horus pencil formula, I find they last so well on the eyes throughout the day, so it means I touch my eye look up a lot less. Perfect if you are at work and then going straight out in the evening and want to make minimal adjustments to your makeup. The black Smokey Goddess was always a favourite pencil of mine but I can see the Scarab Sapphire being a very close second now!
Lots of Love,
