I love a diverse product and The Multistick from Bite Beauty definitely ticks all the boxes. A cream stick product that is for the lips, cheeks and eyes. Blendable, pigmented and gorgeous. Today I’d like to share my thoughts and swatches for some of the shades in the range and tell you why these are going to be huge favourites for me for a long time!
When this gorgeous package arrived on my doorstep my inital thought was, ‘What gorgeous lipsticks!’ Little did I know until I read through the booklet that these were far from just lipsticks.
Here is some information on The Multistick…
18 universal colours that are blendable, breathable and buildable. Apply with a finger, a brush or a blender on eyes, lips and cheeks.
“WOMEN HAVE ALWAYS USED LIPSTICKS ON EYES AND CHEEKS.
I WAS INSPIRED TO DEVELOP A BLENDABLE FORMULA THAT PERFORMED EQUALLY WELL ON LIPS, EYES AND CHEEKS.”
Let’s get the boring bit out the way, the casing. I know its random but I love the casing and do feel it needs a mention. Each Multistick is in a lipstick like casing. The are easy to use do to their bullet style and have magnetic lids, so when in your bag are unlike to come undone and get ruined – don’t you hate it when that happens?
On application you are hit with a cream formula that feels like a powder. For those who remember mattifying their lipsticks back in the 90’s, you should know what I mean. They are not drying on the skin at all and feel good on without being heavy.
There are 18 shades in The Multistick range and I’ve 6 of those shades to share with you. If I’m honest I couldn’t have gotten better shades and love how diverse they are. There is something for everyone in this range, some I would wear as lip and cheek colours where as others I feel are more eye and cheek. This is just on me personally as we all have out own colour palettes.
Blondie – A gorgeous peach pale nude. Its a blank lip canvas that works perfect as a neutral eye base. I’ve used this a lot on my eyes or on my lips with a nude lip liner and a little gloss. Its very pale and on my a little stark for a lippy, but its a great shade still.
Cashew – That perfect pink nude. This is a gorgeous lip colour and one I’ve worn a lot. You can really emphasise your lips with it and give them that Kylie style when used with a lip liner. On the cheeks it gives me a subtle flush, namely as I’m tanned at present but when I’m my natural pale self this will give a good flush to my cheeks. I wouldn’t personally use this on my eyes as I don’t like pink shades there, but it blends so beautifully this would look great on others. I admit this is probably my favourite!
Cerise – Berry lips anyone? This isn’t quite a red, its more of a red current. There’s some purple in there too and a little brown. This is gorgeous on cheeks, on eyes it gives a sultry look and look amazing blended out and on the lips it will be perfect for fall and winter. Hell, I’ve worn it on my lips now. Cerise is one of the most diverse shades in the set I have and one I’ll probably use the most.
Cocoa – Deep chocolate brown. What I love about these is they all have that matte finish and there isn’t any shimmer or satin to them at all. This means Cocoa makes a perfect contour shade, but go easy, she’s potent! It also looks amazing on your eyes for a brown smokey eye. I don’t think its for me on the lips but know others could pull this one off and look vampish and sexy!
Gelato – Oh cute pink, how I love thee! If you like Mac Snob then I think you’ll love Gelato as on me they are very similar. This looks gorgeous on ultra pale skin as a blush, on me with my current tan its a pink glow. This is such a ‘sweet’ shade I love it and would also suit as an eye base as its got a lovely lilac undertone there. Another huge favourite.
Macaroon – Oh you scrumptious pink lippy! Even if this was just a lippy it would be perfect. Add to that it makes a gorgeous blush and you are onto a winner. Again, this isn’t one I would use as an eyeshadow (I am 40 now and I don’t do ultra brights with my shadows), but it would so work with some bright palettes out there! Its the perfect mix of pink, rose and a hint of violet. Love this on my lips!
As I mentioned in this post before, these are all matte shades, no sparkle, glitter, shimmer… just beautiful creme colour. They don’t look flat, the blend out beautifully and feel velvet like on the skin.
I love The Multistick range and am really impressed. I haven’t been able to fault them so far and will do a makeup look or few on my Instagram showing them in action.
