I love hair tools and my brush collection is massive. So, why do I think you need the AirMotion Pro hair brush in your lift? Well, read on.

AirMotion Pro Brush

For some, a hair brush is just, well a brush. Its not something fancy, exciting and it just serves a purpose. Too many don’t realise that the way a brush is designed etc can effect exactly what it does to your hair. How often have you bought a brush that looks great, but snags your hair? Or hurts your scalp? Or seems to create more frizz than when you started? See, a brush isn’t just a brush and they all do different things, that’s why I love the AirMotion Pro, because it does a lot of things. Its like an all in one brush in my opinion.

When reviewing a brush like the AirMotion Pro I like to look at it from more than one point of view. So, I often let me daughters have a whirl with it too. I personally think childrens scalps are that little bit more sensitive, so if a brush claims its a ‘stress free detangler’ then I look at my youngest daughter. This brush was tested by my 10, 12 and 14 year old daughters. Their hair densities range from fine to ridiculously thick and all suffer with tangles as they all have long hair to varying degrees. It was also used on my own medium thick bleach hair too (Pointing that out as my hairs probably more fragile than theirs is!). We all found the handle was comfortable to hold. Its smooth but also has a coating which makes it easy to grip and keep hold of. The handle isn’t too long and the brush heads a good size.

The AirMotion Pro bristles on initial contact on the back on my hand felt a little rough. However, on the scalp they felt good, massaging without the scratch you get from some plastic bristle brushes. My 10 year old didn’t mind this brush at all and she really is picky when it comes to bristle brushes as she says they hurt her.

The brush has 3 different length bristles, so is great for detangling even on thick hair. I got my eldest using this as her hairs like a horses (Long, thick and at times unruly) and it went through her hair fine too. I found on my bleached hair which can get a little tangled sometimes, it got the knots out without taking out clumps – so another bonus there!

Another feature I like about this brush is you can use it on wet hair. Usually I only comb or use a tangle teezer/dessata brush when my hairs wet. But found the AirMotion was great for going at wet hair too.

Over all, I really did like this brush and think its pretty amazing. It does exactly what it says on the tin and worked on my own hair, plus my daughters (My son’s hairs short and he NEVER brushes it!). Its good for tangles, putting hair up smoothly and I would say great for kids as its not sharp feeling so unlikely to hurt them. I also like the colour designs too, I’ve got mine in pink but the white one is really quite cute too! Lastly the price in my books is reasonable too, especially for the quality of this brush – so its a big thumbs up from all of us!

The AirMotion Pro is available directly from AirMotion and costs £11.95, it is available in pink or white.
