Wow, we are finally here on Day 30 of my #30daysofred. I can’t believe how fast this month has gone by. When I first thought of doing this challenge I wasn’t sure I’d make a post every day, but I’m glad I have. In doing this, I’ve rediscovered some reds I had forgotten about and also (Hopefully) shared some reds with you that you may have discovered too.

For day 30 I’d like to say I’ve saved the best for last, but this isn’t my best or my favourite red. Its one I do love though and it definitely deserves a mention. Without further ado, for the final day of #30daysofred let me introduce you to Sleek Lipstick True Colour in Mulberry.

#30DaysOfRed Day 30 - Sleek Lipstick True Colour in Mulberry

I remember this lipstick coming out with a collection a few years back from Sleek, but after 1000+ posts on this blog I can’t for the life of me find out which one (My SEO and tags weren’t as good back then). Still, since I purchased it this lipstick has come out every Autumn/Fall! Being a matte formula it is a little drying, not so much as MAC can be, but you do need almost perfect lips to make it look nice (So, make sure to keep them moisturised!). The formula is long lasting although will transfer and pigmentation is off the chain!

#30DaysOfRed Day 30 - Sleek Lipstick True Colour in Mulberry

Now, Mulberry is my most favourite type of colour in the red lipstick family. It looks almost black in the bullet so can seem a tad scary but on the lips its a deep berry tone, just like…. well a mulberry (Which looks a lot like a blackberry). This is an intense shade but it really does look amazing on ANY coloured skin tone as long as you are brave enough to wear it. This is one of my top 3 favourites of all time and one I will repurchase time and time again!

The Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipsticks can be purchased directly through Sleek, or via Superdrug online or in stores. The cost £4.99 each.

So that’s it, we have come to the end of my #30daysofred. I know what you are thinking, what about MAC Ruby Woo or Russian Red? Or Nars Scarlett Empress? Or even Urban Decay Shame? Truthfully, they are all amazing lipsticks! But I wanted to make this whole tag of red lipsticks about mostly affordable products which is why I didn’t include any of those ones, plus I can’t for the life of me find where I’ve put the MAC lipsticks and they are all pretty well known! I hope you’ve enjoyed this #30daysofred, maybe next time I’ll do it with my nude lipsticks, or even a different eyeshadow palette a day (As I’ve a silly amount of them too!).

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
