3 days to go on Day 27 of my #30daysofred in November and already there’s been some really gorgeous reds featured. Today’s is another huge favourite of mine as this red suits so many people and I loved the campaign behind it too!
This is the second type of these lipsticks I’ve featured in my #30daysofred, not just because its a great colour (Because it is), but namely as I love the formula behind it. This is rather surprising as its not a matte formula and we all know those are my favourites. Today’s red is beautiful and just by checking your foundation shade could be colour matched to you perfecting. Let me introduce you to No7 Match Made Stay Perfect Lipstick in Pillarbox.
Now if you have been following this tag you will see I featured the other No7 Match Made Stay Perfect lipstick in shade in Brick Red (See post here). I’m actually colour matched to quite a few shades from my Match Made foundation and it does mean if you are having an ‘indecisive’ day, its great to just be able to reach for one of these and know its going to work for you. The formula is lovely. It’s hydrating and pigmented, plus it looks amazing on your lips. There is definitely a slightly glossy finish to these but not like a lip gloss, just in a moisturising way. I also like how these wear too, although they do transfer I find they lost well on my lips and top ups from the lipstick style bullet are easy on the go.
Pillarbox is an intense shade and one of the ones I believe was originally shown heavily in the Match Made campaign. If you are scared of reds at all and do wonder what suits you, I highly recommend trying out the match made service at a No7 counter, its free and really helpful plus you will then have a few different shades of lipstick you know work for you. Pillarbox is a bright, orange toned red which makes my lip look super pouty! Its what I would class as a ‘glamour’ red and looks amazing if worn on nights out with a LBD or in the day time to brighten up a look. Don’t be scared of reds, this may look intense but on it really is amazing!
