Onto Day 26 (Also a name of an old band created by P.Diddy) in November of my #30daysofred and its a super, bright, lipstick today for those who want to get their lips noticed!

It goes without saying I own a multitude of red lipsticks, in fact I could probably have done 60 days and not 30 in this #30daysofred if I had wanted to for this challenge. However, this lipstick today is the most vibrant of the bunch without a doubt! Let me introduce you to MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Atomic.

#30DaysOfRed Day 26 - MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Atomic

Admittedly when it comes to matte formulas there are a few on the market. This lip lacquer has some plus points, but also some minus ones too. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the formula, so let me explain. Without a doubt this is a gorgeous matte. Its lovely and creamy, super pigmented and once its on your lips it doesn’t budge easily. Add to that it has a sponge applicator, it makes application pretty easy and it looks good on too. So, I guess you are wondering what the down side is then? Well, I find this one really drying. And as it can also be hard to shift (Even with wipes and makeup remover), it also can hurt my lips a little when I want to get it off. Still, its whether you decide if the pluses out way the minuses with this one as its pretty impressive!

Atomic is a VERY bright orange red. I would still class this as a red, but it does sit very near the orange spectrum in some lights. This lipstick screams, ‘LOOK AT ME!!’ Without a doubt I do get some looks when wearing this one and it certainly is eye catching – in a good way! Add to that it wears well and doesn’t transfer and its definitely a great lipstick to test out if you can, especially as its budget friendly too!

The MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer are available directly from MUA and at Superdrug stores and online. They cost £3.00 each.
