Review: Montagne Jeunesse Exotic Fruits collection

I was really excited to receive in the post recently the new Exotic Fruits Collection by Montagne Jeunesse. If you haven’t checked out my previous reviews on their products click here. Here are my thoughts on the new Exotic Fruits collection.

Here is a little information about Pawpaw Peel Off….

Care, repair and revitalise skin with the Montagne Jeunesse Paw Peel Off, paced with fresh papaya to help heal damaged skin and remove dead skin cells, as well as juiced mango, rich in Vitamin C which helps to control pimples and blemish prone skin. With a sweet squeeze of grape and noni juice, both full of antioxidants to help fight off infection, this masque also helps to reduce the appearance of scarring and inflammation. So, say farewell to those not-so-perfect pores.

This was a really lovely masque, purely for the fragrance. I’ll be honest and say, peel off masques aren’t my most favourite type of masque, but the fragrance more than made up for it. This is an extremely fruity masque which really woke up my senses. I loved the feel of it on my skin and found it really easy to apply and remove. Afterwards my skin felt really clean and cleansed. I didn’t apply the masque to the areas where my eczema currently is but can say this masque didn’t cause me any breakouts nor did I have a reaction to the areas it was applied. This masque is suitable for normal, combination and oily skin. If your skin is slightly drier like mine, I would maybe use the Dragon Fruit Sauna (See Below) instead.

Here is a little information about the Prickly Pear Peel Off…

Banish those blemishes with the Montagne Jeunesse Prickly Pear Peel Off, with fresh extracts of Prickly Pear, tick in minerals and Vitamin C – unlike its name, you’ll be left with noticeably smooth skin! Other unique ingredients include Melon, rich in Vitamin A and antioxidants, and a fresh squeeze of Mangosteen known as the ‘Queen of Fruits’; a super-fruit renowned for its anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties, so it pretty much rules the face of the masque world.

Another masque that really tantalises those senses with an amazing aroma is the Prickly Pear Peel Off masque from Montage Jeunesse. Its hard to say whether I preferred the fragrance of the Pawpaw or Prickly Pear as both were really lovely. I let me other half Mark try this masque as its better suited to normal, combination and oily skin (His skin is normal to oily). He found the masque pretty simple to apply and remove. He also said he loved the fruity fragrance. Afterwards his skin looked brighter and less dull. He said he would definitely use the masque again as it improved his skin and was a relaxing treat. He had no reactions or out breaks to this masque either.

Here is a little information about the Dragon Fruit Suana…

Get a fabulous glow with the Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna, a self-heating masque packed with extracts of Dragon Fruit, rich in vitamins C, B1, B2 and B3 with anti-ageing and healing properties. Other ingredients include Watermelon, rich in Vitamins A, B and C to help remove blemishes and moisturise the skin, plus pears and kiwi which are rich in Vitamin C and help to product collagen, great for soft and supple skin. For Warm yet wonderful results, this is a face masque must.

Without a doubt, this was my favourite masque of the exotic fruit collection. The fragrance was amazing, sweet and fruity – something I love. I also liked the warming effect on my skin while I was relaxing with the masque on. I found this masque was the best one suited to my skin. As I have dry sensitive skin this masque really moisturised my face well, it left my skin feeling soft and fresh. I had no reaction to this masque on my face and would definitely use this again (It was not applied to the areas where my eczema is currently inflamed).

I really love Montagne Jeunesse products are they are so reasonable in price and easily available in supermarkets and Boots. I always have them in my bathroom and at such a reasonable price they fit most budgets as a weekly skin treat.

All the Montagne Jeunesse products are suitable for vegetarians, are paraben-free and they always look to use natural ingredients. The Exotic Fruits Collection are £1.29 and available from Boots, ASDA and www.montagnejeunesse.com.
