Earlier this year I had the pleasure of reviewing most of the new makeup range by Liz Earle (Including their amazing brushes – review here). I fell in love with the Healthy Glow Cream Blushers, I found them to be build-able on the cheeks, gave an amazing glow and lasted throughout the day. I never tried their Healthy Glow Powder Blush though and was really pleased when I was recently sent one to share my thoughts with you on…

Here’s a little information directly from Liz Earle about their Healthy glow Powder Blush…

Our sheer, smooth powder blush enhances cheeks with a soft, healthy-looking finish. The lightweight, easy-to-blend formula contains micronised pigments to make it easy to build up colour as desired. Enriched with our own natural source vitamin E.

Available in seven shades.

The traditional navy casing of the Liz Earle products is both classic and chic. I also find their packaging to be really secure and sturdy.

Inside we are greeted with a nice sized compact, 6g of product and a mirror. I find these mirrors really good as they are a nice size and with the secure casing it means it stays where you put it. The Healthy Glow Powder Blush I have is in Nectar shade 06. Its a beautiful bright coral/pink colour and perfect for the Summer and adding a nice flush to your cheeks.

When I first saw the colour I was a little dubious as to whether I could wear this colour as it did look very ‘bright’. However, its a great blush for building it up to how you want it. Applying just a small amount to the apples of your cheeks and blending well gives a light flushed look, for a more dramatic look – sweep a little more onto the cheeks to add a deeper hue.

I was really impressed with the longitivtiy of the blush; I applied the blush over my foundation (I did not have any primer on nor did I powder over it at all) at around 10am in the morning and it was still looking great come 6pm! Most blushers I find fade throughout the day, but this lasted really well and still gave me a good healthy glow.

I’m really glad I tried Nectar, as this isn’t a shade I normally would have tried and has opened up a whole new colour palette for my skin. I also found applying this over Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint gave a gorgeous Summer look really giving definition and a pretty glow to my cheeks.

The Liz Earle Healthy Glow Powder Blush comes in 7 shades, so there should be a shade for everyone. There is 6g of product with each blush and it costs £16.50. The Liz Earle products I find last really well and although a little more pricey than some high street brands are worth it.
