I think you would have to be in hibernation if you didn’t know that 2012 is the year of the Olympics and its already begun! The olympics in my opinion has bought the UK together as a country! What better way to show your love of Great Britain than with some union jack merchandise?

As many of you will know I love Batiste Dry Shampoos! I have so many of them, although in my household they never last long – with my girls all using them as well as myself we go through it very fast! When I was sent the gorgeous Batiste Brit Proud and True, you can imagine the arguments over who was going to get the can!

Here’s a little info straight from those lovely people at Batiste…

Its time to give your hair some fashion heritage!  A few quick sprays of our uber dry formula gives your hair that clean feeling, body and texture that you’ve come to expect from the nation’s favourite dry shampoo.

In true British style Brit Proud and True has a gorgeous Union Jack design. It stands out, its bold and it looks funky too! This is one of my favourite design cans so far without a doubt and fits in brilliantly at the moment with the Olympics!

The fragrance is sweet and floral. There is a hint of fruitiness there but the closest I can come to likening it to something would be the very British Roses! The fragrance is gorgeous and as with all Batiste shampoos lasts on your hair giving it instant freshness.

For those of you who are new to Batiste dry shampoos they are super easy to use;

Shake can vigorously and spray Batiste into the roots, keeping the nozzle 30cm from hair. Massage through with fingertips. Brush hair and style as usual.

It really is that simple! But Batiste dry shampoo doesn’t just make your hair smell amazing, it also gives instant volume to your hair making it have more body and removes oils which can make it look greasy and lank.

Without a doubt this is my favourite Batiste so far and has even taken over the number 1 spot of Batiste’s Wild (Which was my all time favourite! Review here).

You can purchase Batiste Dry Shampoos in Superdrug, Boots and many supermarkets. Batiste Brit Proud and True costs £2.99 for 200ml which will last you a good while (Unless you are in my household where everyone wants to use it!).

For more information on Batiste why not check out their Website, Facebook or Twitter.

Are you British and Proud? Have you tried Batiste Brit yet?

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
