I have used many products now in the Ahava range and always been very impressed with the results I have achieved with them. So much so, I even use the Ahava Dermud Intensive Foot Cream on clients (Review Here). I was recently asked if I would like to try and share my thoughts with you on the Ahava Dermud Nourishing Body Cream, here’s my conclusions…
A little information about the Nourishing Body Cream…
Ahava Deadsea Mud Dermud Nourishing Body Cream is a richly textured body moisturiser, ideal for dry skin.
Formulated with Dead Sea Mud, plus Vitamin E and Aloe Vera extract, it deeply hydrates skin, calming irritation and soothing sensitivity. Cracked and chapped skin is healed and skin is left silky smooth, with long lasting hydration.
The first thing I noticed about the cream was its consistency, its really thick. I was worried about using too much and not having my skin absorb it but was pleasantly surprised by just how much my skin drank it in! The cream was easily absorbed and left my skin feeling hydrated and moisturised. There was no sticky, ‘wet’ feeling on the skin after – just smooth, healthy looking skin.
I have exceptionally dry skin which also is sensitive due to eczema and psoriasis. Finding products that can help these conditions can be hard and often they are irritated by using products which have a mild fragrance. However when I used the Dermud Nourishing Body Cream I had no reactions and also noticed my skins condition was improved too.
I have used this cream all over my body and noticed a considerably difference on my legs which are often dry and can appear slightly scaly looking. I also noticed that on my hands and arms my skin felt more ‘comfortable’ and less tight. Especially with the cold weather we have had lately. The Dermud Nourishing body cream is an ideal product at present where the weather is so changeable and its been effecting my skin badly.
This product is designed with sensitive skin in mind so is good for all skin types, but especially those which need some intensive relief and moisturising.
Ahava is a brand I trust, they may cost more than some products on the market but you are paying for quality. I also find you do not need to use a lot of this product to achieve good results. On my legs I probably use a 10 pence sizes amount and find this is more than adequate. Since receiving this product I have used it after showering and on several occasions when the weather has been especially cold and wet to protect my skin, I still have over 3/4 of the tube left so in my opinion I feel it is good value for money.
The Dermud Nourishing Body Cream costs £25.00 for 200ml (6.8 fl.oz).
Have you tried any of the Ahava Range yet?
Lots of Love,
