January for me is that ‘in between month’ when it shouldn’t be Winter anymore (I consider December the ‘snow’ month) and its not yet Spring, this makes for me a hard month when it comes too nails as I don’t want to wear my signature ‘red’ Winter colour and yet it doesn’t seem right to break out the Spring pastels either.
Hampstead Gardens and Holland Park Avenue by Nails Inc
Nails Inc have come to my rescue though with two new Limited Edition shades from their New Year Collection for January. We have Hampstead Gardens which is a rich mustard colour and Holland Park Avenue which is a warm taupe brown. Both shades are perfect for the ‘Spwinter’ (I couldn’t use Swinter as it was used on the Phineas and Ferb cartoon and stood for Summer and Winter) and are both pretty eye catching.
I was sent a bottle of Hampstead Gardens too share with you, so here is is as my Nail of the Day!
I do think this colour is one that will grow on me. Sometimes I look at it and think its not for me, then I’ll look again and love it. This colour has no sparkles and is a very vibrant warm honey mustard colour with a high gloss finish as you can tell from my images. Wearable for both evening and day time, I think it would be perfect for work too.
Hamstead Gardens and Holland Park Avenue can both be purchased from Nails Inc online and cost £11.
Will you be trying either of the new limited edition shades?
Lots of Love,
