Over the next few weeks I am trying to buy as many of the Spring nail collections as I can to share with you, or at least one of the varnishes too swatch. I follow many trends, but the ones I probably follow the closest are make up and nails for work, its good to be in the know especially where clients are concerned!

The first collection I thought I would share with you is from one of my favourite nail brands… Nails Inc. If you are a follower of my blog you will know I have done many a ‘nail of the day’ post using Nails Inc colours. I think my most complimented nail varnish by Nails Inc would be Baker Street (Review/Swatch here), no real surprise as its a beautiful colour.

Inspired by the Spring catwalk trends Baker Street (The gorgeous rich cobalt blue) and Notting Hill Carnival (Beautiful Yellow – I will be buying this as soon as I have spare money as I love this shade!!) are 2 must have shades for Spring! Each varnish is priced at £11.

As with all Nails Inc seasons they always release a box set and this one is on my wish list too, although for now you will have to suffice with just a swatch of Portobello (For a great post including full swatches please see Strawberry Blonde’s Beauty blog!!).

This beautiful collection contains 3 nudes and 3 neons (Obviously hence the name);

I feel this is the perfect collection at present as the nudes are covering you for these dreary few weeks we probably have at the back end of Winter/beginning of Spring and then with the bright neons you are all set for Spring and Summer. The complete collection costs £22

As I couldn’t afford to buy the collection at present (I have a fiance who has a birthday soon and wants another PS3 after selling his last one because he wasn’t using it – GRRR!!!)I purchased my favourite colour from it; Portobello.

I would describe this colour as a tangerine orange – not to be confused with a bright orange. It is more diluted and slightly sweeter (I know crazy describing a colour as ‘sweeter’ but at least I know what I mean). This is a medium gloss finish, so don’t expect high shine its slightly duller but not a matt shade. The images are quite true to the nail colour and were taken in natural light.

This shade is perfect for the Summer, I love coral shades in the summer and with this being orange it will look amazing with a tan too – oranges always do!

That about wraps this post up for Nails Inc and Spring, I am really impressed and there is a few polishes here I will definitely be getting my hands on!

What’s your thoughts on the Spring offerings from Nails Inc?

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
