I haven’t done a haul post in so long its ridiculous! Its not that I don’t buy things, I just don’t usually do it all in one shopping trip. However, these bits were all from one day, so I thought I’d pop them up here with some swatches and pictures of what I bought!

I love it when Boots have a 3 for 2 across beauty. I really struggled though as there wasn’t anything I really needed. Still I never can say no to an offer like that so picked up 3 things; Barry M Gelly Nail Varnish Blackberry (gnp2), Collection Eyebrow Pencil Blonde 3, Collection Lip Pencil Pink Heaven 12.

Collection Eyebrow Pencil Blonde 3 swatch

I’ve been needing a new Brow pencil for ages and this one from Collection is brilliant! I would go as far as to say its (Almost, VERY CLOSE) dupe for Clinique’s Superfine Brow Liner in Blonde (A little less Ashy) but for the price who is complaining! It cost around £2.99 I can’t find my receipt and it doesn’t appear to be on Boots online. It was with the eyeliners and lip pencils though and was also available in brown and I think black (Or may have been dark brown). This pencil is really soft, so my advice – Go GENTLY!

I was also in need of a nude lip liner and as I was already looking at the Collection bits I thought I’d give their Lip Pencil in Pink Heaven12 a go. Its a lovely nude shade and will work with so many other lippies I own. Again, I can’t find a price online but this was around £2.99. This was my free item from Boots 3 for 2 though. The pencil is a little ‘hard’ but if you warm it on the back of your hand, it goes on lovely!

I haven’t swatched the Barry M Gelly Nails Nail Varnish as I wanted to save that for a Nail of the Day post – trust me it will come soon though. This time I bought Blackberry (gnp2). If you would like to see my previous review on Pomegranate (gnp1) click here. The nail varnish was £3.99 and they really are lovely!

I was also really excited as I finally decided to take the plunge and buy Garnier’s new hair colour Olia. I’ve been eyeing up 7.13 Beige Dark Blonde for a while and with Boots running an offer on the Olia range with £1 off I couldn’t say now. Garnier’s Olia colours are £5.99 in Boots (Look at for the review and how I got on shortly!).

Newlook Plum Marl Roll Sleeve Top

I was going to pop in Primark but got told that I couldn’t go in there as I had a drink (I always grab a coffee and go in there, so why this time was different who knows?). Still, this meant I took an unscheduled stop in Newlook instead. I’ve not been in their in ages and immediately fell in love with this top! At £14.99 I thought it was a bargain, its so soft and comfy on! I was going to take a photo of mine (Same with the jeggings), but I just couldn’t get a decent picture – sorry!

Newlook Black Jeggings

I also have been after some jeggings (For some reason if you are over a size 14 its near on impossible to find a pair under £25!) and as I already own 2 dark indigo pairs I thought black might make a nice change. At £12.99 they look really great on, are super comfy and a must have for oversized jumpers and cute blouses/shirts!

Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield

When I got home I found this nice little present from my Team Leader for me. I’ve been interested in trying the Lotus Shield for a while and have seen some good reviews on it. This didn’t actually cost me anything as I’m an Avon Rep and it was a gift from my Team Leader. It is currently on special at £4.50 at Avon.

Essie Nail Varnish in Navigate Her and St Moriz Medium Tanning Mousse

After my popular post recently of the Clarins Lip Stick Bargin (Review here) I bought from Xtras Online, I put in a sneaky order for couple more bits the other day and it was waiting for me when I got home! I love Essie’s Navigate her and my mini from the Spring Collection (Review and Swatch here) was empty, so I picked one up. It was only £2.99! What a complete bargain (Now you can see why I love ordering from Xtras Online!). I also grabbed a St Moriz while I was there as I love this tan and its so cheap at £2.99 (Can’t find the medium online now but the link to the dark is here).

And that concludes my little haul, some really great bargains and I’ll be reviewing some of them shortly. Let me know if you’ve bought any great bargains recently!

Lots of Love,

Mel xxxx
