So, what makes this different to any of the other little sample boxes you can buy at Christmas for friends or relatives, is the voucher. The ‘gift recipient’ gets to try each of the samples (There’s enough in each one for a good few tries) and then choose which one they like the best, by taking your voucher to ‘The Perfume Shop’ store (List of stores here), you can then get a full size product of the one you chose!
I was lucky enough to be sent one of each of the Vivabox for him and for her, so myself and Mark have been having a good look (And smell) of the fragrances enclosed. Here are our thoughts on the boxes as gifts…
Me : It’s a really great gift in that its not too expensive and saves buying something the person may not want. Scent is personal and there’s nothing worse than a relative buying you a bottle of ‘X’ and having to fake liking it. This way, I get to pick what I would like and the choices are fragrances I know.
Mark: Its great for us guys. You walk into a perfume shop and there’s too much choice! The sales woman talks us into buying something and we haven’t got a clue. It makes us more likely to actually buy what the person wants, especially if its the woman in your life! She won’t be disappointed then.
I think Mark has a good point there. The ‘For Her’ Vivabox is ideal for men when choosing a fragrance for a woman, whether its their mum, wife, friend, girlfriend…. You can’t go wrong with this box as there’s sure to be one they will like! Like wise for us ladies, we want to get the guy something that smells good but aren’t sure what will suit them, this box would work whether its for a teenage lad or my Granddad (Maybe it might turn that loved one into Daniel Craig with the 007)!
So, I thoroughly recommend the Vivabox from The Perfume Shop, at £37.99 it may seem a little expensive for 7 small 1-2ml sample fragrances, but there is also a voucher don’t forget for a full sized fragrance of 1 of those 7 redeemable at The Perfume Shop store. Not only that, you are really getting the samples for either free or near to it, as an example the Men’s Carolina Herrera 212 VIP 50ml costs £37.99, that’s the same price of the VivaBox!
