FrontCover Nail Art Collection Autumn/Winter 2013

Yes, its that time again for me to review one of my most favourite things… The FrontCover Nail Art Collection. This is from their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection and is without a doubt one of my favourite items that they do.

 FRONTCOVER NAIL ART COLLECTION

Here is what FrontCover have to say about the Nail Art Collection…

Nail art becomes more visible on the catwalk each season and now no self respecting designer would think of his models appearing on the runway without decorated nails.

This year nails becomes an extension of jewellery itself with luxurious embellished looks…nails are bejewelled and beglittered as never before.

Become your own nail artist with step by step instruction to achieve a myriad of the latest nail looks and everything you need to get them ..right down to the glue and the nail file…..all in one box.

Now, let me start by saying that this kit has pretty much everything you would need to create great looking nails. Even if you aren’t great at nails art there is also hints and tips on how to create the different looks too, so you aren’t left in the dark like you are with many products.

As a professional nail technician I can say the kit is of really good quality. In fact, some of the items are better than those you would buy at a wholesalers (But don’t tell anyone I said that).

With the nail varnishes you have 3 colours; a bold vampish deep red (Ruby Resin), red pearl which is a red/orange tone (Red Shoes) and a beautiful taupe nude (Glossy Shell). The nail polishes are beautiful, glossy and very wearable on their own. They last a good amount of time on the nails, but with the addition of a good top coat too in the kit you will be able to give your nail art better longevity too.

You have 3 pots of embellishments; 1 sliver sequins (Which are AMAZING!), multi coloured jewels and some holographic glitter dust. So, as you can image the looks you can create with these 3 are pretty varied. Also remember, you can mix and match these with your own nail polishes too.

There is also the basics for nail art too including a set of sticks for use as dotting tools, nail file, glue and a good nail brush for if you want to get a little creative.

The Nail Art Collection also comes with nail stickers in 2 designs which are really quite cool and will look amazing with the Christmas/Party season coming soon.

Overall, this kit is brilliant and I love it! I didn’t think I would love it more than FrontCover’s Dark Arts Collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 (Posts here on that collection), but I really do. Although, I am missing the addition of a black polish if I’m honest, but that’s a minor issue.

The thing I really love about FrontCover cosmetics sets is that they make fantastic Christmas gift ideas, or even for birthday presents etc. I ALWAYS have one on my Christmas list and have bought them for family too. If nails isn’t your thing, they also do a variety of makeup ones too (See my post here on the Autumn/Winter Collection from FrontCover).

The FrontCover Nail Art Collection costs £25.00 and is available directly from FrontCover Cosmetics.
