Who doesn’t love a good eye liner? But finding the right one can be quite hard. I love the pen style ones, but they often dry out, or aren’t pigmented enough. However, I think I’ve found the pen style liner of my dreams with the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner.

With the High Precision Liquid Liner, you can draw a very precise and fine eye line. It contains carbon black pigments for an intensive, deep-black eye line. The premium high-tech brush is made of finest fibres that form a precise and flexible tip. It can be applied easily and is long-lasting.

For me, the perfect liquid liner has to tick a lot of boxes especially when its one of the ‘pen style’ ones. Firstly the tip needs to be flexible, yet firm. I want it to be ultra fine, so I can create precise lines when doing a cat eye but also be able to create a thicker line if I press firmer. I want it to be highly pigmented and the number one thing, it needs to be long lasting. So really, I’m asking for the moon on a stick when it comes to my liners. However, from the first time I used the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner in 01 Black, it was love at first flick!
I do love the packaging, sleek reflective silver – the downside is you will be permanently wiping finger prints off. The lid pulls off and clicks back on. Its safe and unlikely to comes off even in your make up bag.
The Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner is best shaken before use I’ve found. It has a ball inside, so mixes the colour and also helps with getting it through to the tip. It really does make a difference if you find the liner isn’t coming out strong enough (Although I still advice storing it, tip facing down).
On application swatches, as you can see it does live up to its super fine claims. With a gentle swipe you get an ultra fine line, press more firmly and you get a thicker line. I have the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner in 01 Black, but you can also get it in 03 Brown if you prefer a more subtle liner.
I tend to wear my liner in 2 ways. Sometimes I like an ultra fine ‘cat like’ liner look and will pull it from my inner corner all the way to the outside. Other times I have a thicker line but only take it across 2 thirds of my eye. I find when doing a cat eye the best liner is a gel and an ultra fine liner brush, yet since having the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner I’ve used only this! Its amazing at getting that perfect cat eye flick with precision. I’d go as far to say its the best liner pen I’ve EVER used and really have fallen in love with it. It lasts well too and comes off easily with eye makeup remover or cleanser, so no hard scrubbing!
Over all, the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner literally ticks every box for me! The pigmentation is great, its easy to use (Even a beginner could work with this, probably more so than with a brush!), lasts great and has the best tip I’ve ever used! I highly recommend this and definitely will be repurchasing when the time comes!
