Review: Liz Earle Signature Lip Colour Lipstick in Raspberry 04

Today I’m back with yet another great product from the Liz Earle Colour Collection, I’ve done lots of posts now on their amazing products (Please click here for my previous reviews) and wanted to share with you one of their gorgeous Signature Lip Colour Lipsticks I was sent…

Here is a little information straight from Liz Earle about their gorgeous new Lip Colour line…

Achieve beautiful-looking lips. A collection of easy-to-wear shades in a sheer, comfortable formula. Enriched with our own blend of natural source vitamin E, avocado oil and shea butter.

I love the generic casing of Liz Earle products, it means I can easily pick their products out from my rather large collection. I also find their packaging really strong and sturdy and am yet (I’ve said it now!) to break anything.

The lipstick I was sent was in shade number 04 and called Raspberry. On the website it’s described as…

’04 Raspberry

(Muted raspberry-pink). An easy-to-wear blend of red and pink tones.’
I found it very handy that the website describes each shade, so you can work out easily which shade will be right for you. I don’t think I could have been sent a better shade as its a beautiful rose colour which really compliments my skin tones, plus its a good shade for my rather large shaped lips.

As you can see, swatched on the hand the colour appears quite sheer. However, being a sheer lipstick it means it uses the pigment colour of your lips as a base and then accentuates that with the shade of the lipstick. As my lips have quite a strong deep pink colour when the lipstick was applied it gave them a gorgeous rose sheen, making the colour a very wearable shade.

 The formula is extremely moisturising and almost has the texture of a lip balm. This is something I really love as it means my lips feel hydrated throughout the day and look soft and subtle. I also found the lipstick gave just the right amount of colour to my lips. I was also really surprised that a lipstick this moisturising lasted quite well too.

I can see the Liz Earle Signature Lip Colours being an extremely popular item, especially with the weather changing. They have an amazing shade range with 19 different shades, so it will appeal to many plus with the added bonus of good moisturising properties will mean hydrated lips in the upcoming colder months.

I will definitely be investing in further colours in the range with;

08 Dusk (Nude pink). Pretty heather undertones give this nude extra depth and warmth.

14 Blossom (Soft, pale rose). A gently understated and flattering pink, especially beautiful on fair, alabaster skin tones

You can purchase the Liz Earle Signature Lipsticks direct from Liz Earle, they cost £14.00 for 3.5g of product.

Lots of Love,
