Review: ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel
I review many products on my blog but have never reviewed anything like this before. Being a beauty blog it doesn’t really fit into the category, or at least you’d think.
When I was first asked if I would like to review ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel I wasn’t sure until I read about it. Being someone who has extremely sensitive skin which is often irritated, its hard finding things to ease that feeling. Here’s my thoughts and findings on ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel and why I think it will be great for so many people out there and their families…
Here’s a little information straight from the people behind ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel…
Care ITCHeze Cooling Gel is unique.
It has an all-round performance that many existing products cannot match.
- Rapid cooling effect
- Easy to use, non-messy and odourless
- Gel provides long-lasting moisturising benefits
- Quickly absorbed and avoids staining clothes
- Can be used on both face & body
- Can be used for children as young as 6 months
And, it’s available in large family-friendly packs in both Gel and ‘easy to use’ Spray Gel formats that make it a ‘must’ as a holiday essential.

What really captured me about the packaging was how its so easy to use. There’s also a little ‘catch’ that rotates, so the product can be ‘locked’ (Unable to spray product) or ‘unlocked’ (Able to spray product) just by turning the catch. As its under the spray nozzle its self its also protected to a degree, so if dropped unlikely to break.
The product is easily dispensed by spraying the nozzle too, a good amount comes out in 1 squirt and can be sprayed onto the skin instantly. Its so quick and simple, you could easily use this while out and about and the bottles a nice size, so will fit nicely into travel bags or your hand bag.
What really drew me to this product was not so much for myself, but my children. With 2 of my children having extremely sensitive skin too which often breaks out in prickly heat – it means a lot of discomfort for them. Prickly heat isn’t something that’s easily treated but with ITCHeze, I found it a doddle!
To prove its effectiveness I’ve actually taken before and after pictures to show you. This is of my daughter who had a nasty outbreak of prickly heat on her lower back. It was extremely sore and itchy and you can see from the before photo. I immediately sprayed the area with ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel and she noticed instant relief.
Before using ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel
She told me her skin felt cooler and less itchy straight away. This meant she wasn’t aggrivating it by scratching all the time. Being a product that works on sensitive skin and children (Children/Babies from 6 months upwards) meant it was great for her and meant she was happier and more comfortable.
After using ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel
What surprised me the most was after 24 hours (2 applications) her prickly heat has all but vanished! When she had a second flair up in another area, again I put some on straight away and after 12 hours again the prickly heat had gone. I can only say this has to be down to the cooling agents in the product and because she wasn’t itching it.
Being someone who suffers with eczema and psoriasis I also applied this to several areas on myself which were itchy and uncomfortable due to the heat, I noticed instant relied. The areas felt less irritated and more comfortable. Although this won’t get rid of my skin conditions (I wouldn’t expect it too) it certainly gave me relief which is the next best thing!
This product is great for all the family and easily available in most pharmacies and supermarkets. I think its a family essential for those going on holiday, but also to keep in your cupboard for when skin irritations occur.
ITCHeze Cooling Spray Gel costs around £7.50 for 120ml (In Waitrose) and will last a good time due to the little amount you need.
Lots of Love,
Mel xxxx
