Nothing say ‘Hello to Summer’ and the gorgeous weather we’ve been having of late than a beautiful healthy glow. I wear bronzer daily and have a slightly obsessive collection. Different bronzers create different effects; from a mixture of matts, shimmery shades and something in-between you can create numerous looks, both subtle and dramatic.

After seeing a press release recently on one of my favourite brands, Living Nature and their Summer Bronze Pressed Powder I just had to try it and share my thoughts with you about it.

Living Nature products always have really sturdy packaging. The solid black casing of the Summer Bronze Pressed Powder is no exception. This cute compact is perfect for the handbag and fits neatly into most makeup bags too. Its a good size product containing 4g of product. It has a good ‘clasp’ like closing too which is fairly stiff so unlikely to come open and leak into your bag!

Inside the compact you also have a mirror which I feel is essential while out and about and a nice soft brush. I usually don’t use the brushes that come with products and stick to my own makeup brushes, but will say this brush is a good size, very soft and makes applying and blending the bronzer an easy job.

Many people want to know whether the bronzer is a matt or shimmery finish. With the Summer Bronze Pressed Powder you are getting both but not in a sparkly way! On inspection of the bronzer I noticed extremely fine particles of ‘light’ within it. However, on application there’s not a glittery shimmer. Instead I found the product not only gave my skin a healthy glow but also made it look illuminated too. My skin looked incredibly healthy and sun kissed without sparkle, but more illuminated- I was extremely impressed as I’ve never used a bronzer like this before.

The colour is a nice warm bronze which mimics a healthy sun kissed glow. I often find some bronzers are too brown/dark, but this is a beautiful warm bronze colour which will benefit many skin tones. I have used this on my medium toned skin and also on fair skin and found it a suitable colour on both.

This bronzer has really great lasting power too! Even in this hot weather when I find my makeup can often shift or (As horrible as it is to say or admit) sweat off of me, but I found that it lasted all day and looked just as good after 6 hours from when I first applied it. I have tried applying the bronzer over foundation, BB cream, tinted moisturiser and moisturiser and found it works well in all cases.

As with all Living Nature products I find them to be of an exceptional quality. They are a little more than some high street brands but you are paying for a product that is of a high-end quality with a better price tag. Something I haven’t mentioned before about Living Nature is their approach to 100% natural ingredients. This day and age I sometimes don’t feel we are knowledgable enough to know exactly what things we are putting on our skin.
