EOTD: Sleek Sleek Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes v2 Darks Palette – Look 1

Further to my review of Sleek Makeups i-Divine Ultra Matt V2 Dark Palette (Review here) and as I didn’t put any looks with the review I am now doing some separate posts showing eye shadow looks I’ve created using just that palette. Obviously I would nearly always include a shimmer/frosted eye shadow with my matt looks so it makes them slightly different, but this look was created using solely the matt palette.

The colours I used for this tutorial were;

(9) Flesh and (8) Maple

Its a really simple look and looks like you have only used one shadow – the maple.

To create this look I placed (9) Flesh all over my lid taking it into my crease. I then blended up to my brow with a fluffy brush just to even out the skin tone and lose any edges.

I then took a stiff, small detailing brush and applied (8) Maple to the outer corner of my lash line taking it to the centre only. I then blended this with a fluffy brush and repeated the process to build up the colour. Once I had a nice gradient I then applied more of the (8) Maple to the outer V of my eye working the colour along my crease to add some definition and keeping the colour to the outer part of my eye – never going further than half way with the blending.

I then took a clean blending brush and buffed any harsh edges above my crease so it blended nicely and applied (8) Maple along my lower lash line as a liner.

I finished the look by using my foundation brush under my eye just to remove any fall out from the (8) Maple.

I really liked the finished look and don’t think the picture do it any kind of justice. The red is a gorgeous colour and 10 x more intense than the images are showing. Its still wearable for the day but could be easily smoked out for the evening and paired with some winged liner and false lashes!

I’ll definitely be using Maple again as I love it!

Have you tried the Sleek Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes v2 Darks Palette yet?

Lots of Love,
