At present my hair extensions are about the right shade, but no where near the right tone – my hairs my golden/red and the extensions are more neutral brown. Still I hate not wearing them. With no Halo (See post here if you don’t know what a Halo is) from Halo Hair Extensions I’m going a little potty, not got the budget either to buy new ones at present.

If I curl them you can only barely tell the colour difference but I get a little sick of curly hair sometimes when its daily. So today I opted for something different, the fish tail braid.

 

I clipped all my hair extensions in as normal (This is a basic 8 piece set) and then took my hair to the side and did the fish tail.With my shorter layers on the opposite side I just clipped them at the back with a couple of curvy grips/hair grips/bobby pins.

It takes about 5 minutes to do, is really simple and looks effortless too. A little hair spray finishes the deal!
