Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mummy’s out there! Remember you don’t have to have children to be thought of on Mother’s Day. If you are a Mummy to an Angel, Mummy to a furball or maybe you are a Step Mum or a Foster Mum – either way Happy Mother’s Day to you!

My children aren’t back from the weekend at their Dad’s yet but no doubt I’ll be showered with cards at midday. For Mother’s Day I got some new tropical fish for our tank (This is what I wanted) and also the Spring Essie Mini’s Collection which I partially shared with your yesterday but will do a full post on soon!

Here is my look for the day, I may not really be going anywhere (Less you count my trip to Tesco?) but as it is Mother’s Day and also Mark’s birthday I thought I would make an effort even if its only to look good for my ironing!

Cute up do Bow with rapped band – this is a less than 5 minute style!

My Hair of the Day today is my cute up do – another one I wear A LOT! It’s a neater version of the messy bun many girls wear. I also like to make it tidier by hiding the band. It looks like a bow on top of my head but its all made of my hair. I will do a tutorial on this soon as its a less than 5 minute ‘do’ and looks cute too!

You may also notice my hair is considerably lighter than its normal dark brown I’ve been sporting – this is a work in progress at present and is being stripped again shortly. I’ll share the full post of what I did once it’s finished!

My Make Up of the Day is a high-end look. I don’t often wear all high end together but today I have (Mostly). Granted some things I use daily regardless and won’t change but overall what I used was a little more than drugstore today shall we say!

Base: Chanel Vitalumier Foundation in Beige, YSL Touche Eclat, Sleek Make Up Luminous Powder in Light.

Blush: Liz Earle Healthy Glow Cream Blush (Will have to check colour as unsure it’s not labeled!), Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzer, Urban Decay Cream Highlight in Sin.

Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Palette (Half Baked, Hustle, Smog and Dark Horse), MAC Fluid Line in Black Trax,  Clinique High Impact Mascara (In Black)

Lips: NARS Little Darling Lipstick

Hope you all have a lovely day and make your ‘mother’ in your life feel special! I intend to make Mark feel special so am baking him a cake – a Devil’s Food Chocolate cake to be precise!
