*Tag* I heart Lipsticks!
Ooo it’s another TAG!! I really like these kind of posts as its a break from the routine of reviews and things! I was tagged to do the I Heart Lipsticks TAG by the Beautiful Sherrie at Mirror Mirror on the Wall. If you can’t gather from the title this TAG is all about Lipsticks!
I went on a bit of a mission finding all my lipsticks – please remember from previous posts I’m more of a gloss girl – so I have bought a few new ones plus have a few of my favourite glosses in this TAG too!
Q1- How many lipsticks do you have?
I couldn’t tell you! If I counted all my glosses, lipstains, lipsticks and the 8 hour wear one (You know like Maybeline SuperStay) I would probably have over 40 at least. If I buy a lipstick and hate it, it goes in the bin or too my daughters. I also have a tendency of throwing them away after a while due to hygiene reasons as I don’t often use lip brushes as they are for my personal use.
Q2- What was the first ever lipstick you bought?
I think I’ve mentioned this before, I was going to say Rimmel’s Heather Shimmer – the lipstick of choice of all the girls at school in the 90’s! But that would be a lie, thinking back my first lipstick I remember buying and loving was Iron Lady and by Miss Selfridge. It was a hard dry lipstick and pink/purple and frosted. There’s actually a Facebook page dedicated to this shade – please note I did not make this page LOL!!
Q3- Which is your newest lipstick?
One of the ones I purchased today <grabs one out of bag blindly> Barry M ‘150’
Q4- What is your favourite lipstick brand?
After trying lots my favourite brand is Nars. Namely as they have the perfect nude shade for me and I love it!
Q5- Favourite Pink? At present I’m totally in love with Cotton Candy Cream Puff by Collection 2000.
Q6- Favourite Nude? No Contest here – NARs Little Darling – I love this shade!
Q7- Favourite Peach/Coral? Avon ANEW Sugary Pink
Q8- Favourite Red? MAC Russian Red, there was a Dior one I loved but can’t remember what it was now. Just that it was a deep matt red.
Q9- Favourite Hot Pink? Probably MAC Pink Nouveau but I don’t own it. I’m not a huge fan of hot pinks on me.
Q10- Favourite Brown? I don’t really wear any brown lipsticks – can’t help think of Coffee Shimmer by Rimmel that I hate!
Q11- Favourite Rosewood? I agree with Sherrie on this one; Rimmel Airy Fairy
Q12-Favourite Plum? Illamasqua I think its called Poison and is a Matt shade. I don’t own it at present as its more of a Winter colour for me.
Q13- Other favourite lipsticks? I have lots; I don’t always remember the brands but will swatch my favourites here that I’ve not already mentioned.
